As for squad numbers we can accomodate 2 players without anyone having to leave either CL or Prem squad.
If we sign a third player we have to lose someone from the squad re: Cl but can accomodate in prem league squad.
If RVP does come then it will either be Dzeko or Tevez leaving. Both have a re sale value to offset the cost of RVP, Tevez with his antics last year should make way but I have a feeling Dzeko will be the one having to leave. It is conceivable that he could be retained but it would mean another member of the squad not being able to play Champions League football.

Makes no sense to me to sign RvP. Martinez and Hazard do because they are young, can develop so the cost isn't as bad but RvP is old, injury prone and will offer nothing to the team we don't have already.
I know he's an exceptional player who is available, but the players we have are also exceptional. If RVP came in, one of Aguero, tevez, Dzeko or Balotelli would goNtini77 said:I really want RVP.

I am not sure we are really in for these players. Maybe we just have enquiries in, and we are waiting to see how the transfer market develops.
