The MCFC squad list on the official website has been updated. Taylor, Hargreaves and Pizzaro have been removed. Weiss has been moved to striker! Anything in this?
I fear it is another blunder by the compiler - similar to his inclusion of Gunnar Nielsen - he was on City's released list submitted to the Premier League

i noticed that too

Van Rapist noooo.

Huge wage, huge fee, Arsenal surely would ask at least 22-25 m pounds for a 29 years old, injury master, with not the best behaviour. (Latest news from Dutch camp back is up.)
No resale value probably 4-5 year contract, so paying around 200k/week to a 33-34 years old player who will be injured probably big parts of the season.

He had his best season as a top player, star player, captain at Arsenal. Everything was depending on him. While he had different status there and was behind another star players (Fabregas, Adebayor, Henry), he never had a good season. Never played as an out-and-out striker that time, he was injured a lot too.

He can play on the left too, or from the left, but does he wants to do it after he had his best season as a center forward banging 30 goals?
Not the type who wants to play different position cant imagine that.

He also a player who needs good crosses from the wings to score maximum goals. Walcott assisted a lot of goals to RVP.

there will be resale value, some chinese club will pay £10m in the last year of his contract.pretty much agree with the rest.

To start the day on a cheery note, The Sun's Paul Smith sent home is disgrace from the Euros by UEFA for not turning up to matches they had reserved spots for!

You might remember this odious toad from his disgraceful attack on City the other year on Sunday Supplement?

As for Ian McGarry, he was actually shown the door at The Sun, for too many legal letters, as a result of his constant bullshit.

RVP has been a major target since the start of the year, nothing new there.

He is well aware of our personal terms and they are £100k a week short of what McGarry is insisting.

There is a degree of piggy-backing, as a result of Arsenal securing Giroud and Podolski, good signings for them IMO.

However, unless Arsenal have somehow lowered their £30m demand in the last seven days, we are standing firm and don't really wish to pay more than £20m.

The Van Persie camp is running out of options. The fact Juventus have supposedly withdrawn from the bidding process, should at least prove Arsenal are not about to be mugged-off on a fee.

It is not about the wages for Van Persie, he can get £130k a week at Arsenal right now and a £5m plus signing-on fee.

I'm still backing Tolmie on this one. He stated a couple of weeks ago that City had cooled on RvP, so I doubt very much a deal was agreed between club and player months ago!

Who to believe... a journo or Tolmie?

It's a no-brainer surely?

Arsenal hate us with a passion, if a deal had been agreed months ago, there would be no need for continued talks between Van Persie and his club.

Van Persie does fancy us, but he does not hold the cards. It comes down to Arsenal's ability to bend.

His father stated what he did recently because they were aware City were starting to look at alternatives.
