If he’s cheap great but going out looking for and buying a centre back that isn’t good enough just cheap and happy not to play, which is what you were saying, is a waste of money and a risk.
A higher price tag doesn't guarantee success, especially when he wouldn't be playing week in and week out. He's just a flashy name when someone cheaper (the horror!) would solve multiple issues.

I didn't have a name. I'm speaking about what I think should be the general approach to this situation.I wouldn't. Partly because that's not why I engage, but mostly, because I don't know enough about other clubs' players other than some obvious big known names. When I ask, you or anyone, it isn't most often isn't in sarcasm kr to be dismissive, it is genuine interest as I assume people have someone in mind. Same when they say give it to an academy kid.
