I don't know why the general opinion of him has shifted so much since his injury problems last season.

I get that he's not progressed since then and his minutes have gone down but a lot of people really seemed to turn on him.

Although I've got to say, some were saying he could be better than Foden when he first broke through. That was always stupid. Foden is a genuinely special player.

Not turned on him, but when he plays these days he rarely looks like making something happen. Confidence seems shot and we can't afford to give him many minutes right now.
