We won't sign haaland ever. So we should forget about sign-ing a striker? That's because aside from Haaland there are no obvious alternatives for the level we operate at. If you disagree name some.

Why do you think it’s deluded bud?Cant believe some posters are saying aguero's replacement isn't needed/wasn't a priority because he didn't contribute anything last season. Absolutely deluded.
We needed a top quality striker in the FA Cup semi and the Champions Lge Final for starters.
The thing is, Grealish wasn’t the biggest whole in the squad. I was in favor of getting him, and I think like many people here, we thought someone like Bernardo would be going. But it’s like PSG getting Donnarumma even though they already have Navas, who is a great keeper. No doubt Grealish is a quality player but to strengthen the squad would be to fix holes in DM, LB (especially now!!!) and striker. But the window isn’t over yet! LolDon’t you feel we’ve done that by signing Grealish? We’ve only lost Aguero & Garcia, neither of whom I’d consider are a big loss when you look at what they contributed last season
Because we lost? Would a striker have changed that?We needed a top quality striker in the FA Cup semi and the Champions Lge Final for starters.
They aren’t, just what’s a available isn’t better than we have. I may be overstating his ability, it remains to be seen, but I think on the other side what Torres has started to show as a striker is being very under estimated by a lot of people, and he’ll contribute much more than Aguero did last season..Cant believe some posters are saying aguero's replacement isn't needed/wasn't a priority because he didn't contribute anything last season. Absolutely deluded.
So as things stand, do you think we’re stronger or weaker than last season? The thing is, Grealish wasn’t the biggest whole in the squad. Because by not signing a striker and not strengthening the squad, we allow others to close the gap. Just like Khaldoon said in his interview. After last season we needed to go out and show the world they are playing catch up. I reckon the Rags and Chelsea have made a few good signings. I bet they dont feel like we will be fine this year. Everyone in football knows we fucked up this summer. Put everything on Kane. Like we did the year before with Messi. Now we are left going into the season without adequate striking options. Why’s it a fuck up? How has this season finished? Have we been relegated or something?
You don’t know that. We will be pursuing him next summerWe won't sign haaland ever.
It's madness isn't it. Even in the dark days I doubt I got to this level of negativity in August. Why’s it a fuck up? How has this season finished? Have we been relegated or something?
Weaker in both PL and UCL because rivals are stronger. And if we try to play similarly from last season, we might find that playing with fans in the stadium changes the dynamic of the game and could be an issue. Chelsea, PSG and Liverpool away in a row in September will be a good testSo as things stand, do you think we’re stronger or weaker than last season?
Because when false 9 system doesn't work against certain teams and we need to tweak the system ,we don't have anyone in our bench to call. Aguero was one of the important reason of our success in pep's system. Not replacing him is a mistakeWhy do you think it’s deluded bud?
Doesn’t make us weaker and we are stronger, and until teams play we have no idea whether they are stronger, making big signings doesn't always make a team stronger. Sometimes it makes them worse.Weaker in both PL and UCL because rivals are stronger. I dont think people will realise how big a game changer Grealish is going to be until he finds his feet and then KDB comes back in.
When we see the what happens when 2 players who make that many chances and assists link up or the space opened up by teams trying to contain both, people will work it out.
Pep wanted him more than a striker.
I have no idea how it’s a fuck up when we’re still in all 4 competitions with a chance to win them. Everyone in football knows we fucked up? Really?Because by not signing a striker and not strengthening the squad, we allow others to close the gap. Just like Khaldoon said in his interview. Im worried about KDB. I don’t think he will play much this season, the ankle injury seems very bad and could flare up any time from reports he might play one game then be out the next two.
