Jack Grealish

Nonsense.

He works his nuts off for 90 mins and is a game changer. He almost single handedly turned around a 4 -0 deficit yesterday,if you weren't aware.

Grealish is amongst the most talented English players in a long while,he'd be an asset to any Prem team.
You can't have watched either player because you've managed to compare a bloke who turns up for every training session and every game (a work horse) with a shit-show who turns up for 20 minutes every now and then (a show pony).

Regardless of whether you love or hate his haircut and / or tight shorts, Grealish most certainly isn't overrated.
Watched him against us many times and rarely gets involved and doesn’t fancy it after he’s a had one tackle. No better than mahrez. He would be a very rag like signing to me. I did not compare him to pogba in the way you perceived I just feel they’re both overrated. No better than Stephan Ireland in his best season with us

Not sure about wether he would be good for us but Villa's bubble seems to have burst and I think they might be in deep shit by January. Could see him moving somewhere then if that's the case.
They just beat Arsenal 3-0 away from home, I guess somebody blew the bubble back up again.

I said it in another thread but even though he'd be quality for us, he plays in a position we're already covered for. It'd be Foden especially and Torres that likely lose out for him as far as game time is concerned.

He's worth it.

I watched the match last night, and once again he was instrumental in everything Villa did.Arsenal had no answer for his energy, drive and ability. He's one of footballs few genuine game changers.

I think he would compliment many of our players,i'd be content to give his place to that of either Sterling or Mahrez - he's far more effective and consistent than either.

I mean if you're going purely on the last 10 or so games then yes I guess that last statement might be true especially in sterling's case otherwise there is almost nothing to back that statement up.

Grealish has grown on me. Yes, he's had his problems and he's made some mistakes in his private life, but probably every club has players that have done similar. We have Walker and Foden to start with.

I think since getting the captaincy at Villa, Grealish has matured quite a bit though. He's a leader on and off the pitch. He's loyal to his club. He's not outspoken in the media. He doesn't display thuggish behaviour. He doesn't cheat or deceive. He always shows for the ball. He stands out against quality players - look at the Liverpool game as an example.

He is an excellent technical footballer and would thrive in an environment like ours, where teammates are striving to improve technically. He would join us on the basis and with the attitude that this is a step up, and he was no longer the main man, but one of a team, which if it performs well, will always be in contention for trophies.

My view is that he would be a brilliant addition to our squad. He's good for six years or more, and I can't remember the last time Villa sold us a dud.

If the club was interested the time to get him was this summer gone.

Will cost too much now.

Worth noting how much he has improved playing in a better villa team, I think he would step up again playing with our world class players - that would put him in the world class bracket and definitely improve us.
