Beat me to it.It's not going to be Jesus.

I think this is the most likely scenario, we'll be fine with Gundo as Rodri's backup.I think it would be tough. Unless he is the Fernandihno replacement and Gundo switches to DM next season.
We're over our limit for association trained players anyway. If we signed Grealish he would have to take a foreign dpot in the CL.One positive is that he’d be a homegrown player. Hard to find top homegrown players these days and we seem to be at our limit for foreign players
Gundo has been one of our best players this year, there’s no way we are gonna demote him to back-up CDM next season. While the above is true. That we have a couple of 30 year olds on the horizon... Kev, Gundo, Mahrez.... It will be tough to fit Grealish in next season if everyone comes back. We still have Ferran who is yet to fully settle waiting in the wings.

Giving a player 2 jobs instead of 1 is hardly demoting...Gundo has been one of our best players this year, there’s no way we are gonna demote him to back-up CDM next season.
Think that might be down to the players as much as our preferences. It's not going to be Jesus.
Well, hes better than 3 of the above so if we have an opportunity to upgrade?.He's a good player but for some reason, it just doesn't feel like a signing we'd make.
Besides, we already have 4 players (Sterling, Foden, Torres, Jesus) who can play on the left.
If we sign Grealish, we'd have to sell one and I can't see any of those leaving.
Maybe could win a few games with that.Foden/Grealish___________________________Sterling/Mahrez
______________________de Bruyne
___________Grealish/Foden___-_Bernardo/Ilkay
________________________Rodri
__Zinchenko_______Dias__________Stones_______Cancelo

So? It's only the natural position of maybe one of them. Foden can play anywhere in the frontline and in midfield, Ferràn can play the front line, Sterling can play on either wing and can fill in up top and Jesus is a striker who can play on both sides. We have more players that can play on the right (Mahrez, Bernardo, Sterling, Ferrán, Foden, Jesus +).He's a good player but for some reason, it just doesn't feel like a signing we'd make.

Maybe but I'm not sure it would be enough of an upgrade to justify spending the 80m or so that Villa would want for him, especially if we're going to be spending more than that on Haaland.Well, hes better than 3 of the above so if we have an opportunity to upgrade?.

To be fair there isn't a lot he can do from the treatment room. There’s a difference between doing it at a club like Villa and doing it for City.
The worrying thing is that he hasn’t even been that good for Villa in the 2nd half of the season. He had a great start but faded away the last several months.

He's missed the last 5 games through injury and got an assist or goal in 4 of the previous 6 games! There’s a difference between doing it at a club like Villa and doing it for City.

Hey now no need for that I wasn't trying to be rude lol.His form had dropped off long before then smart arse.
Great talent, but he does have big down periods where his form dramatically drops off.
I’m not convinced he’d really improve us overall.
