Getting a lot of stick but he didn't do too much wrong except that pass. My only question is why was he the furthest back on the edge of the area? Surely it's common sence to leave someone on the halfway line.

Rodwell should know better, but that position shouldn't be filled by an inexperienced player.

Composed, good movement, the only time he wasnt in space was when he and Yaya were after the same space (good vision to see it and working with the team will sort it), didnt look like he's broke into a sweat, take away that pass and it was a bloody good debut,
He will improve with games and teamtime.

He just seemed so at ease, Dam. As we go on I think he'll improve further, it was nice to see him just start because instantly that would've silenced the pillocks who have slandered the signing and his performance only backed that up.

I thought he was brilliant today (for his 1st game) More time in the team and he will become one heck of a player. Looked strong in the air and was neat and tidy and did what was asked of him. Unlucky with the goal but still impressed me.

He did ok. Nothing spectacular but efficient bar the mistake for their second goal. Found it difficult after that as totally outnumbered in midfield. Needed more support.
