Javi did ok today, won some headers and kept the ball moving well.

Biggest problem, and certainly not his fault, is that against a team like Palace we needed our fullbacks overlapping to compensate for playing a DM however both Boyata and Clichy are not good going forward.
 
He did ok, but he offers nothing going forward. Plenty of opportunities to run in to space with the ball, like vinny does, but he stops and plays it square, kills any momentum.
Good at headers though.

he is not like ferna or yaya who are modern DM who go forward too..he is a classic Dm staying in front of defense and protect them. today he did ok also tried some long crosses
 
Javi Garcia would've struggled against a team that presses high up the pitch. Crystal Palace just sat back and allowed our defence and holding midfielder to have the ball.
 
Garcia was useless today & that is from someone who usually defends him, side pass after side pass, think he made 2/3 forward passes all game.
 
He is only ever ok. Nothing more. For £16m I expect a bit more than someone who only passes sideways and 5 yards.

Rodwell must be a shit trainer to be behind him in the pecking order.
 
I cant believe that some of you happy to applaud such limited ability,he is so restricted in his play and offers nothing as regards momentum or creation.Even his defensive ability is lacking due to his statuesque disposition and lack of agility and pace.

Shocking player - Not even close to being good enough for us.
 
Mr. Sideways

He might be good in the right system but that's just a polite way of saying he's got limited ability.
