I will always support a player when he pulls on a blue shirt but I am also willing to acknowledge when a player isn't up to the required standard and Garcia falls into that category. Yes other players were at fault for not putting a shift in but that doesn't take away the fact that Garcia isn't good enough. It also makes me question the credentials of MP when he picks players who clearly are not up to the job. That said, if he gets picked for the team i will continue to support him, always have done and always will.

we have lot of PASSENGER in our team, and do not add any value in term of competitiveness. one of them is Garcia. i like him personally and have charming smile, but we need better midfielder not a supermodel.

Don't know how he gets in the fkin team to be honest. Would rather have Milner in the middle than him, but really he should've played Rodwell yesterday not Garcia.

i agree with those who say its not his fault as i blame MP for picking him, people saying he didnt make a mistake yesterday and hes just made a scapegoat just aren't seeing the bigger picture, its the fact having him in the side takes such a massive part of our game away, he will create nothing during a game and its not like he will be tearing all over the place winning the ball back, he only ever seems to play the ball as simple as possible and others seem reluctant to give him the ball and that really jumped out at me yesterday when Milner took his role in the 2nd half as he was constantly an option and was getting the ball off his teammates, people scratching their heads about home and away form need to look at the fact at home, Newcastle, United, Norwich, he hasn't been on the park. away Stoke, Cardiff, Sunderland he has. He should never start over Milner or Rodwell in that role EVER and why we are going to Sunderland and playing with a holding MF player is beyond me but thats another thread

Stop being sensible and use the usual team-picking algorithm, like everyone else;
(Step 1) Everyone knows player A is better than player B (which leads to)
(Step 2) Always pick player A over player B
Note: If player B has a better game than player A, and you're tempted to start him in the next game, return to (Step 1).

I actually think Garcia is perfectly adequate and manages to do what he's meant to do and capable of doing a lot more often than some of our other players.
He genuinely does quite well in his role. But all that matters is he isn't very fast so who cares right?
