What has joe's earnings got to do with it? You were going on about "poor Costel" like he was playing for us for free. He knew exactly what the situation would be when he signed he'd be back up keeper and get very limited game time but instead of sticking at his current club or going to a team he'd be first choice he chose the pay day at city. So don't go on about how professional he's been not getting picked because that's exactly what he was signed for.
Fella, I never brought weekly wages into it YOU DID , I'm going on about poor Costel cos fools are making out Joe should get a permanent berth as no1 despite how well or more pertinently how badly he plays. CP knew very well the situation hence why he has barely uttered a word of dissent and when he did it cost him the biggest game of his career. Are you seriously slagging a back up keeper for collecting his pay check, sorry pal but you are one massive dickhead.

Seriously are you really this thick or is it an act? I wasn't fucking slagging Costel for picking up his pay cheque you pleb. You were making out like he was being mistreated and a brave little boy for not moaning about getting game time and I said I don't feel sorry for people getting silly money to sit on their arse and that is it. I'm done now anyway I can actually feel myself getting stupider just conversing with you.
The irony of you calling me thick and a pleb literally has me laughing my ball off at you. You say youre not slagging CP for his pay yet its only you brought his pay into it, Everything Joe now faces losing is what CP has possibly already lost. He aint crying to the press nor am I. I give marginally less of a fuck about the Romanian national team as I do the English one, what I care about is MCFC. Fact is JH has made errors and in any other position of the pitch he would have been dropped long ago. CP deserves his chance. I think going to bed might be the wisest choice you made today, I have little passion for humiliating dullards like you at this time o night

Media coverage for this is ridiculous. Any other keeper in any other team wouldn't even get mentioned but Hart has had fucking rolling news coverage for weeks. I think dropping him and getting him out of the spot light is the right thing to do but I don't think pants is anywhere near as good as some people seem to have got in their heads.

Ridiculous? He's England's no 1 with a world cup just around the corner. Imagine Gerrard getting dropped by Liverpool for poor form.

Gerrard is one of the greatest players in his club's history. The same can't be said for Joe I am afraid. Hopefully one day Joe will win a Champs League for us but he has already put out title notions at risk.

Pay cheque.....,.not pay check.........fucking Americanisation of Bluemoon continues unabated!

I'm old enough to remember Keith MacRae.
And big Joe who had his own problems

Listening to the news, Joe Hart is rivalling a US air strike so I guess when it gets that kind of profile there's an argument for taking him out of the spotlight. The trouble is that now we've caved in, the spotlight will be double the intensity when he comes back

I hope Joe is strong enough to come back from this.

MacRae was the guy that was supposed to replace Big Joe and we know what happened next.

If Hart isn't strong enough to overcome this, he isn't what we need.

Don't be daft. Course he is good enough and strong enough. He's been part of the tightest defense for 3 years.
Suddenly there are a lot of changes personally and systematically and Joe's form has suffered more than most.
You don't become a bad goalkeeper overnight and i'm sure this rest will do him good.
Can't believe all the get rid merchants. He was more than good enough before and he'll be more than good enough
again.

Cheerful upbeat Tim pontificates again. Gerrard is part of the club's history because of his age. By the time Joe gets to Gerrard's age, he'll still be young for a goalie and will be one of the greatest players in OUR club's history

I hope so too mate but while Joe is a good goalie, he is a bit short on footballing sense, for example, which balls to come for and which to stay in his six yard box.

I would take Panti becoming a legend as well if it meant lots of trophies.

Sadly me to- Wembley 02/03/74 :(
I don't remember Keith McRae . But I do remember Joe Corrigan and Alex Williams in the 80s. I remember Alex Williams being a decent number 2 keeper to Joe Corrigan in the 80s .It was a shame injuries cut short Alex Williams career .

Things could have been a lot worse than Joe and we had a keeper like Paddy(Roach)Perch whom played for the Rags.
Comedy at it's very best.

He wasn't 'short of footballing sense' for the 3 years he won the golden glove. He's just having an off spell fuelled by the microscope he is currently under every minute of every game. I was astonished at the last home game to see that ALL the press were behind the City goal despite the fact that we normally score 3 or more goals at home and normally the press would want to capture that. But no....they were hoping for a mistake by Joe. How must that make him feel - and when the fans desert him too .... Joe's already a legend for us. A young goalie still, playing for US who has been England's number one for some time now.

The fans have been very loyal to Joe and sang his name at every game over the last month. It is a credit to the Blues that we sang Costel 's name in midweek after a fine display.

That is a gross contradiction and why did you feel the need to say that the fans have been very loyal to Joe? He DESERVES our loyalty. As for the midweek game, I expect ALL City fans to support whoever is wearing the shirt on the night - so why is a credit to the blues that we sang Pants' name? Actually, did we sing his name? Where were you sitting? However, the fact that we sing for Pants when he's playing doesn't mean we think any the less of Joe.

It would been hard for you to miss the Costel chants because many fans were singing his name on the way down the many flights of steps. You may not have recognised the chants during the game since Costel rarely gets a chance in goal? Costel showed class in not coming to close to our end at the end of the game to lap up the appreciation.

Yes we have given Joe good support and Joe has recognised this.

I hope Joe does become a legend for us (you think he is already there) but I suggest he has some way to go -'particularly when I hear the Nicky Weaver song sung on Wednesday night and no mention of Joe.
