Me too. I find myself controlling this by reminding myself that in a parallel universe somewhere, this might be happening to Newcastle and what is happening to Newcastle might be happening to us. We have recently enjoyed a fairy tale, rags to riches takeover, we have the richest owners on the planet who not only have the capacity to spend mega money to make us the best of the best but have every intention of doing so. World class players are seemingly willing to at least think about a move to City. Contrast this with Newcastle. Relegated, with a twatzoid extraordinaire for an owner, loads of shite and massively overpaid players, only 21,000 season tickets sold, no real manager and a financial black hole that makes one single footballer (Ronaldo) virtually as valuable as the entire club and puts off prospective buyers by the horde.

I have a very very good source inside the club (has told me countless stuff way before it was announced) which has told me some very bad news (for us, not for you). Basically in a few hours JT will come out and say he wants to accept Man City's offer, my source didn't know his reasons for wanting to leave but the board at Chelsea are not pleased, the offer is said to be around 40 million.

As childish as it may seem, Terry will become the biggest villain in CFC history if this goes through.

Yup, his first game back at the Bridge in Sky Blue would be, lets say interesting to say the least.....

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if we reduced him to tears. It's not hard.

I think the icing on the cake if he went would be to see his reaction as Frank Lampard lifted the Champions League trophy. That would be funny, but hey, we don't actually know anything yet. We don't know if Terry will leave, will Lampard be captain and we definitely don't know if we will ever win the Champions League.

I think City are partly motivated by the desire to lay down a marker to the self-ordained and soon to be shattered big 4 clubs that we are willing and able to take their players if this is what we are determined to do.

Dont worry, the guys with those abilities are not stupid or malicious. London is about as much as they will confirm.

He wanted to, alright. He may have spent the pre Chelski transfer deal protesting to the world and its wife that he wanted to stay, but once he turned up at Chelski, it was a different matter. He didn't acknowledge our existence for the next three years. Unlike say Say Given, who was honest enough to say he didn't want to stay with Newcastle because he wanted to win things.

and he has 188 posts so my guess would be that he is a chelsea fan and why would he try to wind them up if they support the same club he does.
