I've just been having a browse on cfc.nob, I can't get on shed end, I'm banned. Did we bury our heads in the sand as much as the Chelsea fans are doing now when they came in for SWP ?
It's almost painful to watch.

I have to say, I have never met a bunch of fans that are so unwilling to face the facts.

But to be fair, what facts do we have regarding the whole Terry situation? It's purely newspaper speculation and silence which can't always be relied on.
In your heart of hearts, what do you think JT will do? stay or go?

Right, now I feel he will go, but that changes all the time as we are getting different signals from different sources. Even the newspaper reports are pretty conflicting.
Yep, I felt the same RE Eto'O he's coming, he's staying.. like yo say we''ll have to pan it out.

I can't change user names, only admin can, no need for the abuse though, rent boy this and fuck off that, you are pathetic and childish, have debate, have heated debate but keep it adult ffs.we have spoke about this last week, carry on and the thread will go and so will the posters.

Are you happy with John Terry's silence ? Seriously ? I know I wouldn't be.

Of course not, but we don't really know what is going on as no one has gone public about them. ITKs' have been a little wide of the mark on here (mainly with their timing), so who are we to get information from other than Newspaper speculation? We really have no facts to rely on.

Still, I imagine City have turned Terry's head in a similar way to which Chelsea turned Gerrard's head in 2005- Terry is obviously considering is options (which is concerning).

We'll just have to see how it pans out.

To be honest and speaking for purely footballing reasons, I don't want John Terry. He has a seriously dodgy back and he is slowing down already. There is no way he is worth the money.

On the other hand if we can prise Mr Chelsea and current England captain away from the supposed love of his life, then that is a powerful message that will send shockwaves around the Premiership and beyond.

So for that reason , I hope we get him. It's irrelevant how long he stays fit for, it's all about the message and the image we get across.

Exactly, I can see benefits in him leaving and obviously if he stays I will be elated as we will have retained the England captain and a seriously loyal player (which he would be to turn down City) and a great leader.

Either way there are positives and negatives for both of us, in my opinion.

See what I mean about conflicting reports :P

at the end of the day if terry wants to leave then terry will leave and chelsea should respect that because of what he has done for the club. Its just like the ronaldo situation if he wants to go.

Think Terry knows exactly what is on the table....just the mere fact that he is willing to talk to ANY other club will have done it for the Chelsea fans...he has crossed the line now and he's on his way to COMS.

I'm sorry, but I must of missed something - how do you know this?

The whole thing with Terry reminds me of the Kaka situation - he has an interest, but the club don't want to sell. However the club can make us look foolish if it drags on a bit as it shows that no matter what money doesn't win. This is probably the reason why we tried to make it OUR decision to back out of the Eto'o stuff.

Without ending all the transfer excitement/frustration - I do really believe that the squad we currently have is capable of doing great things. Barry and RSC have been quality buys (in theory), and hopefully having Johnson, Bojinov and Petrov having a full pre-season behind them, we have another 3 new buys. Add that to NDJ, VK, SG, CB, WB, PZ, Robbie and SWP all having a full pre-season training with the squad, settled, then they should all have a better season. And who's not to think that Micah, Ned and Ireland won't progress further from what they've shown in the last few months?

All in all, a far cry from the 10 goals at home we saw not too long ago!

Will i get banned for saying this!!i really hope not but surely Hughes knows Terry is a cnut and past his best and wheres the business sense in giving one of our future rivals £40+million. to invest far more wiselyIf he signs its a very sad day in my eyes.
sorry but when it comes to Terry and/or Lampard i just cant be reasonable with my opinions
