That's because any player we buy is going to have only a relatively small impact on our overall performance because of our current strength of squad and the level of progress we have achieved. Adding Jorgino to this side isn't the same as adding the likes of Yaya, Ageuro, Silva, De Bruyne etc to the sides we had then.

If only we could add a couple of players that would have that kind of impact on our current side.

Thats a good point mate....anyone we buy will complement the team. Add the length of time and seemingly lack of movement(Mahrez deal more so), its taking alot the interest/excitement out of the transfer. Pre-season is still 10-12days away, will be interesting to see if we get more aggressive to close these deals....
