I thought it was only me who couldn't see what all the noise was about regarding Kimmich.

He's a good solid pro, but for me he's not one who's ever stood out to the level everyone keeps saying.

Brilliant news. Genuinely world-class, and would be up there with our best players. Sure, he is a bit out of form this season, but can you imagine him under Pep again? Exactly. Age and experience are one of the reasons he's better. I dont agree with the original post (not yours) that "hes not any better than Lewis". That's completely false. If Rico gets anywhere near Kimmich over the next 10 years that would be huge.

Fair. I also think Lewis will be relatively patient over the next few years and could learn from Kimmich too.

He's not essential, but he’d be useful.
