I'll grudgingly admit he had a good game last night, seems like that red card did him a favour as he seemed more focused on doing a job for his side rather than playing in highlights like he does for England and walking around like his shit don't stink. Dominated our geriatric midfield.
 
He did a decent enough job for them last night. Understated. No real histrionics from him. The lads ahead of him did all the damage.

Haven't seen a thread about him anywhere and don't think it's relevant enough to start a new one but I'd give that Valverde a special mention. That fella is outstanding. Genuine world class but seemingly without any of the billy big bollocks attitude as well. Looks like he can play pretty much anywhere. Bellingham is pretty low down the list of Madrids best players for me but that's not exactly an insult. The fact he's even holding his own at all in that company is a compliment to him.

He’s unlikeable, but is he a bully?

I mean, I can’t say I’ve heard of him victimising other teammates, and he’s hardly going to be bullying players on the pitch in a one-off occasion. That’s not what bullying is.
 
Big game for Madrid tonight champs lge quarter final. The kind of game where big players usually step up to the plate.

I seen one clip on twitter shared about a thousand times of him winning a ball on the touchline and playing a decent thru ball to Mbappe. Captioned with stuff along the lines of he's the best in the world no debate etc etc.

Did he actually do anything else worthwhile in the game?
