I don’t follow football very closely tbh outside of City so I hear this negative talk about him on here but I just put that down to the way opposing fans naturally dislike a cocky opponent. It's a team game. There are other qualities that are just as important as being good at football, and being arrogant is not one of them. Arrogance is a toxic trait, and Pep wouldn't stand for it.
Yes - I did not pluck Ibrahimovic out of the air as an example of an arrogant player who would not be a fit for a Pep team. I do however think that we were genuinely interested when he was at Dortmund but did not push it as his father was a dipper fan.
