The old Div 1 was very poorly skilled compared to the likes of Italy. Only recently has the PL been the best league in Europe, mainly because it’s full of foreigners who tend not to play for England.

You forgot to add it's full of foreign coaches now. English football coaches such as Reid, Pulis, Allardyce etc are thankfully long gone

Feels like many will actually be wary now, especially the massively skint. Think Liverpool are possibly a little too sensible and know they have players in his position.

Which leaves the proverbial basket case of Chelsea, who I'm sure would find a way to fit him in.

Chelsea are interested. Rather he went there than either of those red twats. We should be all over it to replace Kovacic and Bernardo in summer, but I bet we’re not after he turned us down last time.

God I hope we don't go in for him I cannot stand the ****. I like Camavinga if we could pick and choose a Madrid midfielder.

I know this is a site for opinions but Bellingham really? Apparently he appears to have stunk the dressing rooms at
both Madrid and England and his lack of self-awareness makes him poison. Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. Just another over-rated media fan boy

My thoughts exactly, there's a good all action box to box midfielder in there somewhere but he's high off his own farts and thinks he's fucking Zidane. Drives me mad watching him play for himself and nobody else in an England shirt. If we signed him I think I'd go and set myself on fire outside the Etihad.
 
Real is a club that will feed the ego.
That is entirely the wrong choice for a player like Jude Bellingham, IMO.
He needs a manager who will treat him as a squad player who has to compete for his place and play for the team.

Like yourself, I don't like his attitude. But I can imagine that RM dressing room is a pretty toxic place, where player power rules. Ancelloti probably handled it better than Alonso.
He's very talented, but definitely not a 10. As an 8 he'd be fantastic in a Pep system and be a huge goal threat

If Pep got hold of him and he was part of a disciplined squad, then just maybe

Had big fat Sam not been a greedy prick, he might have been a good fit for England. Similar to Jack Charlton with Ireland, it wouldn't have been pretty to watch, but it would have been effective.

One of the biggest problems we've had over the last 40 years has been picking players because who they play for & playing players out of position.

Bellingham believes his own hype & when ever I've seen him play, he's not a team player. If he ends up at the rags it will be Pogba mark 2

Somebody commented he's not a number 10 but a number 8. Can you imagine a player and father with their attitudes
accepting Pep's demands that you play where I pick you for. We all know Pepe has a penchant for playing people out of their preferred positions. Unfortunately he does not appear to have been brought up to listen to advice
