Keir Starmer calls for tougher Labour rules to expel antisemitic members
Brexit spokesman says he is frustrated by party regulations after shadow cabinet rowwww.theguardian.com
Seems to be a desperation from some on the right to tar him with the same brush as Corbyn, despite him taking clear steps to address the problem now that he is in a position to do so.![]()
Labour needs exclusion rule for antisemitism, says Keir Starmer
Decisive action is required – and denial is part of the problem, says shadow Brexit sercretarywww.theguardian.com
Those are from 2019 you would need to go back earlier as the story itself began around 2015 I believe. I could easily find quotes before the Starmer ones from Corbyn himself that would give the impression he wanted the issue dealt with.
He did what most politicians do and reacted to how the wind was blowing. If a statement can be found In the period when Labour where denying any problem then that would change things.
