Get the 30 mill on the table we are receiving for Mahrez
More of a discussion than a solid link.Where has this rumour come from? Sorry I haven't kept up with the transfer news this season.
He is not the same player who left for Bayern. You have to think the only thing not bringing him back is worried about his attitude.
He is much better than all of the other alternatives mentioned
You could argue if he’s different that’s not a bad thing. He is not the same player who left for Bayern.
We would be wasting our money in bringing him back. As I said a few pages back we needed SWP more than we do with Sane. He does deserve another chance to kick start his career but not at City. You could argue if he’s different that’s not a bad thing.
He was far too inconsistent before. Maturity may have helped this. He used to have his moments and when on he was incredible, but far to up and down.
As much as I’d want to see that again I’d also love to see a reliable Sane which maybe isn’t as effective in those moments but better over a season. He was great against us recently and we destroyed them.
I did see your post but I think they are different players, different time/needs and the club is in a different place. We could easily sign anyone but I think signing Sané would be the best fit.We would be wasting our money in bringing him back. As I said a few pages back we needed SWP more than we do with Sane. Not much difference between the two. Both are (or were) exciting wingers, both were fan favourites but both were looking like they were on the decline through one reason or another. SWP was more of a statement signing second time around. We don't need any more statement signings at the minute (Haaland is more than enough and possibly Gvardiol). We may need to find a Mahrez replacement but Sane isn't that sigining for me.I did see your post but I think they are different players, different time/needs and the club is in a different place. If we have been taken by surprise we need someone that can slot in. He can play either side which helps with both the rotation of Grealish/Foden. He’s got a lot of experience and clearly a good player.
I’d be amazed if someone would prefer Olmo or Raphinha to Sané. He’s a better player than both of them, you don’t play week in week out for Bayern if not. I also think if he doesn’t come back and set the world on fire he does a solid job like Mahrez has this year.
I really don’t see a better transfer out there. We have Foden and Grealish already. Potentially Alvarez out wide and plenty of youth players coming through with bags of potential (McAtee, Bobb, Palmer, Borges etc.)
SWP coming back was at that time we were growing, well trying to. We needed any connection to get players in. We could slap down incredible fees for the worlds best players now and they’d most likely say yes.
He’s still better than Raphina and Dani OlmoHe is not the same player who left for Bayern.
Fair enough. For me Sane isn’t a statement signing but a worthwhile replacement for Mahrez. I guess we just see it differently. Not much difference between the two. Olmo would be decent but Raphina nope. He’s still better than Raphina and Dani Olmo
He's not been a regular starter for FC Hitler,he's been in and out and generally a disappointment since signing.I did see your post but I think they are different players, different time/needs and the club is in a different place. Yet he’s was the best player against us when we last played. He’s a good player and if he was openly in the market plenty of teams would want him. Whether it’s a Barcelona loan, Chelsea just going for it or another top team. I wish some people on here could at least admit that but say I’d rather so and so.He's not been a regular starter for FC Hitler,he's been in and out and generally a disappointment since signing.
His injury unfortunately reduced him from his peak 2018,when on his day he was unplayable.
In the last 5 years he's regressed and simply isn't at our standard.
Apparently his best performance according to FC Hitler fans.Yet he’s was the best player against us when we last played.
