met a Dutch couple on friday in our local bar, doing the s america tour thing. We started talking football, she aked who I support, told her City. She said she was an Ajax fan, we talked for a while about how good they are. Fhen she said she liked the dippers and how good no salad is, I said... you do realise that liver... I know she interrupted.....' they are the most hated club in europe !!! yes I know that'. made me laugh that.
 
I don't buy into this we'd love the European cup instead of the league.

Absolutely rubbish .

Winning your league over 38 games whilst juggling 3 other competitions is the absolute pinnacle of your season.

Winning the champions league after playing about 11 games, half those games against shite from Europe like Bosnian miners 11 or the 4th or 5th best team in Portugal who would struggle in the championship.

I wouldn't bat an eyelid if we never won the champions league until the day I die, the league(and the fa cup) mean 100 times more to me and always will.

Fuckin deluded Scouse twats.

They don't believe it themselves. After every game from about mid march watch them celebrate every win in the league like it made them champions. They were absolutely desperate to win the league, while City plodded along quietly rubbing their noses in turd for about two months. It was a consolation prize, but possibly the best consolation prize you can get to be fair to them. It was still a good achievement for them, but to say they would rather win it than the elusive title is farcical!

they was singing from christmas and now your gonna believe us were gonna win the league hahahaha sadly for them the title is not handed over at christmas after 19 games
 
A dipper tried to tell me that Liverpool are the best team in Europe. When I pointed out that this is nonsense as they're not even the best team in England he said that City aren't the best team in England because they lost 4 games over the season to the likes of Palace and Leicester while Liverpool lost only one. When I pointed out that City were back to back PL champions, finishing ahead of Liverpool, and that to win the domestic treble City played 50 games of which they lost 4 while Liverpool won the CL by playing 13 games of which they lost 4, he told me I was deluded and walked away.

There's no reasoning with some people. Particularly dippers.

And who did they lose that one to?
 
We took 4 points of them were competitive in 4 competitions won 3 of them , the first team to win the domestic treble. They were competitive in 2 competitions, threw 2 competitions and won 1 competition. How the hell can they say winning a knock out cup is better than winning your league, still the press keep saying it and those daft twats keep believing when we all know what City achieved was so superior to them.

It's funny because we lost 4 times in the league they do think they were better , but point out we only lost once in the champions league and they lost 4 times and how can a team that lost 4 times be the best in Europe when we only lost once so we are the best team in Europe lol

Doesnt matter how many times you lose it's about finishing first !!

They love that one. Heard that plenty of times. They are better than us because they are Champions of Europe which is a bigger accolade. They want the league and like to think we want the CL.

Our manager does. Our owners would. But as fans we prefer the league. Personally I want us to go for CL above all else next season but it is so much about luck. League balances out luck and best team wins. CL we have been on the wrong side of things two years in a row. Cannot help that. If we win nowt but CL next season our overall achievements and records will cement our team as one of the greatest ever. We are already up there but that will always be used against us.
