But thats the point - scratch the surface and they don't have much at all
All they could really argue is Matip, Thiago and Nunez would have started if they were fit and not suspended. The bench tonight was horrific.

It's not an excuse either, All teams have injuries. We were missing basically or entire back four for two months April and May and still won the title.

Fuck them.

My usual glass half full attitude is severely tested tonight.
Very poor, no fight, VVD shown up again for wrong decision and not making changes at half time.
The bench today showed how little strength in depth we have with only Carvalho being attack minded possible to bring on.
But how bad did Liverpool have to be to be beaten by that lot?
The positive tonight ...is surely, we can only get better.
A bit of reality brought back to many fans, reminding them that the last few years have been great but it is easy to slip back to mediocrity.
You've got some balls coming on after your team achieved the impossible - making the Scum almost look like a football team. Power to you, bud.

I'm annoyed they've got an absolute gimme this weekend. Need some teams who will stamp on their neck
To be fair, if you looked at their first three fixtures before the start of the season, you'd say all of them were a gimme. Give Bournemouth a chance to stick the knife in further.

Not just on here, when did you last sit in row 13 on a plane?
Which is stupid anyway. I'm trying to think of a situation where the plane goes down and everyone but row 13 survives. My building has no fourth floor because of Chinese superstition. But not only that, no floor 14, 24 and 34. It's stupid. That's far too common a number to be superstitious about.

This Liverpool side needs a rebuild the midfield apart Thiago is bereft of any creativity and there are now cracks appearing in the defence. There have always been doubts about Trent Arnold defensively, especially his positional play, but VVD looked vulnerable tonight.

They are still a good side, but the pressure is certainly on Klopp to get his injured players back asap, especially Jota, Matip and Thiago.
There are no doubts - he is certified shit defender

Same as my building, floors that should be #4 are 3A, 13A etc. I understand that the planes do not have row 13 as people refuse to sit in them and they end up with empty seats

It wouldn't bother me in the slightest.
I don't see many planes crashing because someone is sat in row 13

"After exhaustive research and reconstruction it was found that the aircraft came down because a bloke was daft enough to sit in row 13"

If it does go down it’s nice to know you are safe in rows 12 & 14 ;)

The one game I wanted them to win, and they produce that. Good luck Liverpool catching Arsenal, never mind City.

I had United down to win this game. Given their position and the noise around them, it was arguably the perfect league game for United.

In big games Liverpool play on emotion, and this was going to be an emotional driven game. They are not good playing in emotionally driven games away from Anfield. Had it been at Anfield I have no doubt Liverpool would have won comfortably.

Liverpool do not have the capability that City has to take the sting out of a game. Keep the ball, silence the crowd and, kill the game off. Death by a thousand cuts as opposed to swinging wildly trying to land a fatal blow.

I expect next week they'll beat Bournemouth easily, whilst United struggle at Southampton.
