Seriously though... Imagine Haaland had come to us and missed just some of the chances Juande Carroll has missed for that lot...

The media and pundits would be all over him, yet Nunez either gets away with it or gets a load of sympathy despite costing about £40mil more.

They haven't published their 2022 accounts yet but I'd expect them to show a total squad cost around £800m. That's some fucking shoestring.

Klopp tried to claim they had to sell in order to buy Cody Gakpo.

"You know our situation, we can't pick players up on top, on top and stuff like this. We have to collect money then spend a little bit then we collect again."

They've sold one significant player in the five years since Coutinho, and that was for about £30m. He's just bullshitting to make himself look better.
