I hope they boo. Loudly. I hope they express how distasteful and repulsive this anachronistic, criminal freakshow is.

Boo to your hearts content, Liverpudlians. Be faithful to your principles.

I'd fear Liverpool more if they do get mcallister he looked very good, intelligent, on a level with what city buy. I do think we should get in their and at least inflate the price.
Why? Scousers are already a good team. McAllister will help them but he might not either. Transfers are so hit and miss. Lot of good players went to united graveyard.

Anyway, no point fearing a player going elsewhere. Red dips will be about next season. The season after that they will crumble again.

Meanwhile, over on the squawk... littlewoodspools fc have been shit this season... because we've made their players fall out of love with the game!!!

I don't know what's funnier... below... or the circle jerk rantathon currently unfolding about a Brennan article from over a year ago!

Re: Man City - cheating bastards rumbled

I’ve said for a while that part of our problems this year will be down to players falling out of love with the game because they’ve been cheated out of titles. Who could blame them?

So the poor scousers are offended by the playing of the national anthem on the occasion of the coronation of the King.

Whatever we all might think of the Monarchy its not that big an issue to go along with it until such time as the country as a whole decide that a move to a republic is what the people want.

But no, these cnuts see themselves as outside our society.

As usual, its all about them...

Any decent midfield player should steer clear of them, imagine being that good and watching the ball fly over your head for 80% of the time.

They reduce any midfield to the role of spoilers and tacklers. If I was MacAllister I'd want to play in a real midfield. Us, Arsenal, Villa even The Spuds would be better options. Or just stay at Brighton for now and play in what looks like a fantastic MF Unit.

Eh? Spurs midfield are the definition of cloggers.

Bin dippers don't have principles.
See what you've done there is ringfence an entire demographic. And whilst scumbags who launch bottles at teenage girls have no principles, I've met many scousers who I'd consider to be wonderful people.

And I would argue that, yes, if they boo an anthem that celebrates a criminal being divinely anointed head of state, they're veritably principled.

"As soon as the Premier League encouraged the National Anthem to be played, clubs really had little choice and, so, the debate about what would happen at Anfield ahead of the Brentford game began.

Liverpool Football Club was never going to go rogue and give the anthem a miss - it is far too respectful an institution for that.

Yeah, 'cause having a victory parade on the anniversary of Hysel is the pinnacle of respect ;)

"Liverpool supporters did respect a minute’s silence to mark the death of Queen Elizabeth II before a Champions League match against Ajax last September."

Did they? Did they fuck! It seems history can be rewritten these days even before those who witnessed it aren't around to say otherwise.

...much like some people feel about having an impromptu minutes silence to mark the 33rd anniversary of Hillsborough "forced" on them ;)
