They lied and the people on holiday with them lied,all they have ever done is obstruct the police & they have the gall in todays papers to complain they have never recieved help from the police.It has also emerged Father Pacheco was apparently called in to see his superior, Algarve Bishop Manuel Quintas and warned about his behaviour.
In the days after Madeleine vanished on May 3, the McCanns, both 39 and devout Catholics, frequently sought refuge at the priest's church.
They became so close to Father Pacheco, he gave them the keys to the tiny building so they could go in to pray whenever they liked.
However, his friendship with the couple appeared to spectacularly backfire after police became convinced Kate had told him she had killed her daughter during confession.
But he has vowed to take whatever she had said to the grave, despite being quizzed by detectives.
Guilty as fuck.

whatever the circumstances, the parents are somewhat to blame - whether murder or simple naiive neglect.
This has to move on and we cannot keep funding some enormous worldwide man(child)hunt because they happen to be articulate and vocal.
The cessation of handouts to fund the search may bizarrely help the parents if they are grieving, they can stop, come to terms with it and try to move on.
If all this a sham catholic-abuse coverup then, errrr, well..... will we ever know?

Your all missing a crucial point though, if they did kill her (be it accidently or puposely) how could they dispose of her body in a matter of 1 hour and 30 mins in a good enough place that the biggest search party to ever take place couldn't find it ?

I had serious concerns about why those children were left there in the first place, as most probably did.
I really would hope she has not perished. Wasn't there some footage from Amsterdam on CCTV or something that emerged a while back?
It's a pretty sad indictment of the world we live in when people would do such a thing and regard kids like her as commodities (and I mean that at face value not necessarily in a seedy way). It reminds me of Ben Needham which happened when I was a kid. Does anyone remember that? Worth a Google if not. I really hope that because of the huge amount of publicity Madeleine's case received that, if she is still alive, someone finds her and it has a better outcome than the Needham one.
I'm not a parent but to go through something like that must be soul destroying.

I dont think the parents did it, i think she was taken. Plus I do think that tons and tons of parents over the years have done exactly what they did and leave their kids of an evening, I think its more common than most would like to admit.
Pity the police in Portugal didnt act quick enough to shut the borders, I think all this could have been prevented. I blame them for a lot of it.

Thats the most convincing evidence i've seen on this case! Its really eery to watch but confirms what a lot of us think!

That video is pretty conclusive for me. If that dog is good enough to solve 200 cases and never be wrong, how is it wrong or ignored this time?
