here's a question for you all.

can you ever see a pelligrini side going to the swamp and winning 6-1?

dont get me wrong i'd always take any win but when we win a game these days its always on a knife edge.

TBF Bill we mullered them last year and they should have had two sent off

To be fair Bill, I can't.

It should of been about 5-0 in the first 20 minutes.

Yes i could we are capable of those games of brilliance, unfortunately we are capable of losing to them as well which has been unheard of for quite a while, our boss just doesn't do organisation, we have to accept it until someone better comes in

We quite possibly could hammer them 6-1 under Pellegrini but I could also see us losing quite heavily too due to the porous nature of our defence. At the start of the season we are all laughing at how poor their defence was yet we have now conceded more league goals than they have.

Yep. Spot on. We've never scored more than 150 goals in a season while Pellegrini's been here.

Except that I think he does when he feels it necessary. There have been games where we have looked very organised and held our shape well but our norm is to attack in numbers with lots of movement from the forward players.

Comparing and contrasting the shapes of the two teams in our game in Rome is instructive in seeinghow organised City can be when the need is there.

There will no doubt be exceptions and my memory isn't the best but the times we have been organised seem to coincide with injuries and pragmatism seems to have been by chance rather than design, it seems to be in our DNA that we cannot look professional for any period of time whatsoever

i've just watched the roma away game on catch up, needed cheering up :)

anyway a few things stuck out. nasri, he has so many detractors on here but we are missing him badly. martin, threw himself in front of everything. we were quick, we were determined, we were totally confident.

where has that team gone?
