Good luck trying to get a decent fee for squad players when they are surplus to requirements. If we had all our incomings sorted the buying club would take the piss. We would be left with a bulging squad. 1 in 1 out is sensible. The club has only acted to actual departures not speculations.

Hopefully when Cucu is done we get the fireworks signing.

I loved Zin but, similar to Milner, he was a good squad player, nothing more and never good enough to be first choice LB or in midfield.

The statement you have just posted is true

That City haven't made great strides to sign Cucurella recently, and they are seemingly waiting on outgoings? From journos reporting that's the case (Pol among others), Tolmie saying City have told Cucurella to hold for a few days and the lack of reporting of any bid made/rejected. If you're implying that things could be happening behind the scenes, yep obviously possible but very few deals or movements occur that aren't leaked.

I dont think its a case of needing to get rid & makes more buisness sense to sell players 1st as we get a better fee. Its risky if we haven't got Cucurella signed before letting Zinc go.
