City have placed one bid of 30m. There is no 40m bid yet, most reports now have said they are willing to go around 40m, that is a big compromise and showing our willingness to up our bid.

My main point though is that I don’t think transfer requests mean much in the grand scheme of things. Brighton are the ones that need to change their stance, city are obviously willing to talk. I doubt this makes a difference for brightons recruitment, how many kids from the slums of brazil or ecuador would turn down the chance to make 10k a week from brighton and get premier league exposure?

We didn't change our stance. We made an original then subsequent offer. This is normal.

It’s been poor from City to sell Zinchenko when they weren’t even close to agreeing a deal with Brighton.

Really hope this ends up happening he would be a significant upgrade to the squad and give us so much more versatility & imo the alternative back up options are not good enough.

I've never been the wait till you buy a replacement to sell your player kinda guy. I don't think it matters. Zinch was ready, Arsenal be was ready to pay. You do the deal.

One is unrelated to the other. Imho

I'm at 32-35 million plus 5 million in add ons. So I'm far off from 50.

Your right he loves the place,
Those peebles stink of piss and if you travel not 1 mile down the front you will see raw sewage plant dumping into the sea!
