I like Phil Jones. Anyone who crawls along the ground and puts his head on the ball amongst feet just to stop a cross can't be all bad. Have to admire the effort and deserves a bit of respect imo. Like the Stan Laurel impersonations too.

Not holding advanced talks with Chelsea for a start. It’s obvious he doesn’t care where he goes as long as it’s out of Brighton.

If Brighton will only sell to Chelsea then it’s still a massive step up and quadrupling his wages chumps league etc. whilst city might well be his number 1 choice Brighton or Chelsea is a no brained if that’s the only option.

Well if he says no to Chelsea, we still don't stump up the cash and Brighton don't budge then he will be stuck there. It's too big of a risk for him. His first choice is definitely us but Chelsea is an attractive option too. So I completely understand why he is okay with them.

I hope something like Raphinha happens with the Cucurella deal, even though Chelsea agree fee with Brighton, the player would only prefer his move to City , the only thing am thinking is there are loads of reports of him been open to move to Chelsea, I just hope he somehow manages to put pressure on Brighton to sell him to city. Got a feeling City will solve these soon, but only time will tell.
