You were positive he had signed for Chelsea a few hours agoPositive thinking m8!
Not really.Yep, yet we felt grealish was worth £100million. Bizarre.
In all my years seeing embarrassing opposition fans this is the worst. Worse than Goldbridge. Worse than Howson. This is a grown man. Shit 'poetry' too.
Who are these entitled City fans the Brighton fans keep going on about? I haven't seen any. They're imaginary.
Mind you, the idea of a guy with one goal last season scoring a hat-trick against the best defence in the league made me laugh. They're completely deluded about how good Cucurella is.
Well we did, otherwise we wouldn't have paid the release clause amount. Not really.
Yep, hard to square that circle. Especially when we could have lived without Grealish at the time, but have had LB issues for years. Not a Grealish hater, think he'll have a much better second season but we overpaid significantly.Yep, yet we felt grealish was worth £100million. Bizarre.
Imagine Brighton paying £50m for a full backhahah state of this fucktard .
Surely he wakes up every morning handful of his own cottage cheese .
Not really bizarre.Well we did, otherwise we wouldn't have paid the release clause amount.
Yeah... well... that's just like your opinion, man.Not really bizarre.
without a doubt imo.So if Cucu had a £50m clause, like J G would you have paid it?
No we wouldn't of come near and told your chairman to go to AASo if Cucu had a £50m clause, like J G would you have paid it?
"If" can move mountains. If Cucurella "had" a £50m release clause, it would have been easy for City. Pay up or look elsewhere. We wouldn't even bother negotiating over a fee for a player that we thought was extortionate. So if Cucu had a £50m clause, like J G would you have paid it?
No. If Cucurella was the only option we wanted we’d have paid the £50 mill Brighton wanted clause or no clause.Thats what happened with Grealish. So if Cucu had a £50m clause, like J G would you have paid it?
Not being rude just a question, did you say the same to the Villa board about inflationary pressures to the transfer market when they put a buy out for JG of £100m?"If" can move mountains. If Cucurella "had" a £50m release clause, it would have been easy for City. Pay up or look elsewhere. We wouldn't even bother negotiating over a fee for a player that we thought was extortionate.
HOWEVER, the reality is Cucurella DIDN'T have a release clause, so on that basis both City & Brighton set their valuations. A deal can't be struck, then so be it. City will move onto other targets.
Question: Who's ruining football & bringing inflationary pressures into the transfer market. City or Brighton?
no we wouldnt of gone in for him its quite obvious the goal posts keep movingSo if Cucu had a £50m clause, like J G would you have paid it?
This is not case of what we can afford (with or without FFP) it is simply valuation. Of course there is a case against evaluating Grealish at £100 million but that was his release clause. It bares no relationship to what we are willing to pay for Cucurella. Otherwise city should pay £50 million for a 50 year old who can’t run or trap a bag of cement- like me!Yep, hard to square that circle. Especially when we could have lived without Grealish at the time, but have had LB issues for years. Not a Grealish hater, think he'll have a much better second season but we overpaid significantly.
