For a start your supposed to be a Manchester City fan, NOT a Mark Hughes fan, you stick with your club no matter what! And if the board left, and the owner fucked us off where would that leave us you prat?

Good luck Mr. Hughes, I was all for the appointment, but you never really had a chance once ADUG took over.

We as fans should NEVER underestimate the amount of leg work the fella did in his 18 months, any success that arrives in the short term will be due in large part to the changes Hughes has made.

Once again good luck in the future, and trust me, whatever team you end up at will dick City on a regular basis. Thats just the way football is.

I thought Mark Hughes did a decent job and I think its a shame as 18 months is not enough in any job.

That said, to sack him at this stage makes sense with the transfer window looming.

MADNESS !!!!

all you tw*ts who called for Hughies job should hang you head in SHAME ,all you stupid kids who play Football manager/championship manager who think it is so easy to manager a football club should just f*ck off and go play with a bus .Before Hughes came we were a middle to lower table team and just because you spend £200M doesn't guarantee instant success ,with all the players he brought in you have to give them time to gel give the manager time to get them playing together as a unit ,but now we are back to square one,this club needed stability but now once again we are the laughing stock of football ,we are in the semis of the carling cup ,sixth in the league with a game in hand ,lost 2 games all season yet we still sack Hughes .Now don't get me wrong i was as disappointed and angry as the rest of you with the draws and especially with the performance against spurs but we have to take thing in context ,missing players ,bad luck ,ref decisions ,time for the players to gel and the fact that all teams this season are inconsistant ,but we had the transfer window to look forward to to help solve some of our problems.But that has all gone with the new man wanting to make changes and sign his own players , like someone on here said earlier BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR !!!

Terrible sacking

The decision to sack Hughes is a bit of joke. We are sixth in the table and into the semi final of the carling cup. Yes the defence is terrible and that is something Hughes knew all about but I don't know (I hope it is because Mancini is a very good manager.) if bringing in a new manager who has never managed in the country and has absolutely no experience of Premiership football is going to help. If this goes completely wrong and Mancini is no better or turns out to be worse than Hughes what will we do, sack him as well?
I do agree that we aren't playing well but i don't think now is the time to sack Hughes. He should have been given the rest of the season and if we were not into the top 6 then been given the sack. The amount of time he was given was ridiculous.
I just hope Mancini is given enough time to build a proper team and is actaully given time to get the club into the top 4. He has been given the worst defence in the premiership and is going to have to replace every single one of them. I also hope bellamy, Tevez, Santa Cruz (who did more work today that Adebayor has done this season) will want to stay despite what has happened to Hughes.

You didn't quite reach the heights needed under the new regime but you came mighty close.
Whoever you had coaching the defence let you down badly and cost you the job.
Personally I would have given you till the end of the season rather than bring in Roberto Who.

I agree it is madness, and I'm very disappointed in the club, but what's done is done no amount of moaning on Bluemoon can bring him back, so I say thanks for everything you've done Hughesy, wish him luck in his career and hope he continues to manage at the top level, and hopefully we can look forward to a bright future with Mancini.

Dear Mark, I personally would like to thank you for your time spent here at my club. For what it's worth I think you should have been given more time, only history will tell whether the owners have made the right decision today but I want to thank YOU for the following.

1) getting us to our 1st semi final since 1981. (first since I have been alive)

2) De Jong, bringing back SWP, Shay Given, getting the best from SWP, Bellamy, Kompany.

3) Having the balls (unlike to Sven) to not pander to the likes of Elano.

4) Losing 2 games since August.

I wish you every success in the future, and wish you had been given the time you deserved.

i could not say much more than this really.
