Only kidding

Despite all the problems the new wbsite is great - I am also a web designer and picked it apart but thats because I gave up seat counting.

It's a tiny little web browser that nobody in their right mind would use. It was developed for the KDE windows manager in Linux. Firefox, Opera and Chrome are all better browsers available for free in Linux so it's a joke using Konquerer... Think the guy is trying to be "special" ;)

I'm not trying to be special you idiot, I'm pointing out flaws in compatability. Oh, and Chrome is buggy on Linux, and Firefox isn't the default browser on KDE based OSs.
Konquerer is a browser that is built using the KHTML layout engine, on top of a Mozilla based program layer. To cut a long story short, the problems in Konquerer will also be problems in other browsers built upon KHTML/Mozilla codebase or the old WebKit layout engine on Linux, like, umm....I don't know..
Konqueror
Konqueror Embedded
ABrowse
Web Browser for Android (mobile device platform)
Google Chrome
Epiphany
iCab
Iris Browser
Midori
OmniWeb
Safari
Shiira
Skipstone
Sputnik for MorphOS
SRWare Iron
Stainless
Sunrise
TeaShark
Web Browser for S60
WebOS

Of course, as somebody who builds websites all day, what would I know about making websites work? I must just be pointing out flaws for the sake of it.

The issues you point out in Konqueror work fine in Omniweb, Chrome, Safari, Android, Stainless and WebOS. So presumably the Webkit fork is fine and they've not bothered with the KHTML optimisation (which admittedly, is understandable though a little lazy)

Safari crashes after i watch any video on the site, i use a macbook.

ps i really like the new site, the video thing is just a bit annoying

I find the new site a bit strange to say the least we still advertising matches that have been played .Tried to watch the interview with the Chairman no such luck .unavailable please try later

None of the videos working for me at the moment....has done this before, then I try again and they work!

Try clearing our your cache and preferences file. Safari plays video fine for me.

Jesus, how long have you got?

1. Main Page - The Title's in the centre page don't show up on articles using Konquerer. Also, the right hand side is unnavigatable, and the page doesn't display correctly.
2. The 'scribble writing' in Fans point of view doesn't display at all in Konquerer.
3. YOU FAILED W3C VALIDATION ON BOTH XHTML AND CSS!
<a class="postlink" href="http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.mcfc.co.uk/&charset=(detect+automatically" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http: ... omatically</a>)&doctype=Inline&group=0
<a class="postlink" href="http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http://www.mcfc.co.uk&profile=css21&usermedium=all&warning=1&lang=en" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/vali ... =1&lang=en</a>

4. You also don't pass on about 1000 points of the WCAG, despite your Accessibility Policy.
5. It's 5.33am on a Monday morning, and you're ticket shop is still telling me that it's busy due to a high volume.
6. Barcelona tickets are still listed as On Sale.
7. Palace tickets are listed as On Sale Saturday, when it's Monday and the game is midweek.
8. The Arabic site isn't even trying. They've recently broken the news that Joe Hart has gone to Birmingham.
9. I'm pretty sure that the Search system isn't functioning correctly. If you search for "stuff", it just randomly gives you any old story that seems important, despite the fact that it may never contain the word "stuff".
10. Various articles such as <a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/2005/August/City-fans-know-the-score" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/20 ... -the-score</a> don't have pictures associated with them.
11. The Link to the CSA site is broken.
12. The accessibility links (Access Key + key) don't seem to work.

I can think of a few more, but I'm sure you get the point.

What do you expect when you only spend a reported £2.3m on it!?!

I cant view the chairmans interview, just keeps reporting an error, try again later?
