Media bias against City

Those final 10 minutes should be a rallying call to us all and im pleased to see it might just be that going off the posts on here this morning.

Fuck the doom and gloom merchants and fuck those who want to write us off at every opportunity.

Watford did not control that game , leicester did not control the game and Arsenal did not control the game , but the media have repeated that these teams did control the games so often , even some blues now believe it .If you tell a lie often enough to enough people , does that make it the truth ? Only 3 teams have out played us this season , Spuds (with the help of 2 offside goals) Dippers(with the help of Mangala's own goal) and Stoke , even Juventus beat us twice and we should have won both those games , ive been to over 20 games this season and watched the remainder live on TV or on a stream , and stats of possession, shots missed/blocked , shots on target , corners ,chances , passing accuracy , passes in opposing area , all back up my statement. Perhaps you can tell me how many times Messi has pulled Barca out of the shite over the years ,or Ladyboy at Real , that is why we buy the best players in the world , to pull you out of the crap and also why we take some much shite from opposing supporters about spending money, buying trophies blah blah blah.

100% with you on that Jimmy. Great post.

I think our team has played like that more often than not this year away from home. It cannot always be fatigue especially when they seem a different side for the following home match. Its a mentality issue for me.

Perhaps - you don't often see Barcelona players ambling around when within 10 yards of the ball unlike many of our midfield yesterday. This next month will be defining (aren't they all?), even more so if we pick up more injuries early on

There's a difference between having different views and badly slagging off the club you purport to support at any given opportunity..there are a few on here that like to do the latter..their reasoning is their own but personally I think it's pathetic

That is true but maybe I have not read enough of his posts historically to gauge that is his default position.

He seems a bit demoralised with the players (not the club) and maybe I am a bit sympathetic because I feel similar. I think with regards effort and commitment we have been short changed this year.

On the way back from Watford, what a game! Proud of the team. #WeFightTilTheEnd #MCFC

That's a tweet from Vinny, @kiam06 why don't you run over to Twitter and tell him he should be embarrassed instead? Maybe Ighalo has a Twitter account too, you could see how far up his arse he'll let you insert his tongue, although he'll probably think you're fucking nuts if you tell him he should have had a hat trick in the first half.

I think some of the comments towards THE ITK of the board is disrespectful at best, at worst its bullying and you all need to take a look at yourselves.

Well said. The fact that the lad owns the site should merit at least some respect for that achievement alone, even if some of his views can be a bit erm.... random.

That's our biggest problem defensively, and it's not confined to Ya Ya. Both KDB and Silva are repeat offenders at giving up the chase once an opponent has gone past them, and the knock on effect is space galore in front of our back four as Ferna and the centre halves get sucked out of position to cover. Needs addressing badly

Absolutely agree.

World class is on and off the ball and they need to realise that if we are to achieve ours and their potentials.

Im sure Pep will stress this till the cows come home or at least until he thinks they ant be bothered, at which point he will simply drop them.

brutal but needed.

BBC running best backheel goals twitterati fun after wooney one, whilst also mentioning he's above Denis Law on goals scored now.

Prediction:
Denis law backheel for City won't be allowed to get a mention. (Over to you Twitter users..) And yes, it might not be the best, but it's certainly thought of, to be one of the most significant.

I wonder if they will run a best ever volley from a corner competition after Yaya's worldy yesterday?

Nope, didn't think so.

Rughead could take a shit and they would proclaim it the greatest fucking ever lol.

Compare and contrast. No prizes for spotting which one is MCFC.

From todays ToryGraph:

******* rewarded for 'risky' system as ****** flicks historic winner

*******'s late raid seals lucky win over ******* warriors.

It just proves once again that you CAN make it up!!

I agree City were lethargic for a good chunk of the game. With each minute that passed you could almost see the confidence drain from the players. However the turnaround should be the kick in the backside and confidence shot in the arm City need, fans included.

Huge victory, regardless how the press spin it.

Many City fans are getting like United fans and believing all the rubbish that it is written about them.

Too many fans of both teams allow themselves to be influenced by what Sky and BBC 'experts' say in the commentary.

That's why rag fans are full of crap and many City fans run down their own team on here.

Spot on. Mangala is a prime example of that. He is NOT a poor player but the media tell us he is, so most believe them. Sadly that includes a load of City fans.

You might have seen in the DT that Mangala is so bad that Sagna talks to him during matches.

Even playing as a kid, we were screamed at to 'talk to each other' but with City it appears a fault.

Maybe some fans but I judge a player over time and Mangala isn't good enough he hasn't got a positive attribute to his game I can see, maybe attitude is one positive give is all.
