Media bias against City

Miralles gave the linesman a worried look after whipping Navas's legs from under him, an indication surely that he knew he had done the dirty deed. How Madley missed it is open to interpretation, willful or useless.

madley was a fucking disgrace a fraud of a ref...this is his 4(?) game he ref us this season and in every one of them he was diabolical...tbh here i'm not saying that we weren't poor but it's look like the power to be want a mickymouse final ....

Delph slid in and the Everton player had to just move his leg away as Delphs arm caught it....yellow card.

Besic went through the back of Silva all night long....nothing.

Yet again a blatent penalty which he and his linesman had clear views of ignored.

They are all fucking cheats.

and let's not even start about osman putting his leg on sagna's....it was at least a yellow and what he does????? award them a throw....it was a total disgrace the entire game....this idiot should not refere us again this season or next

I thought this was for it being a bit late (it was) and about the 3rd time from Delph, so repeated fouling.

This is not a defence of his failure on other challenges. When Coleman pushed the City player aside on the goalline with both hands, I cannot understand how that was not a foul.

It was so late and with such minimal contact that the Everton player didnt even go to ground and just raised his leg.

Not a yellow card in a million years yet Besic constantly left a foot in all night, many times from behind as well and fuck all said about it.

The penalty not given is just ridiculous its that bad a decision. He blew all night for fouls outside of the box less obvious than that.

Madley is absolutely useless at best and corrupt as fuck at worse.

Andy Hinchcliffe was a disgrace again last night commentating for Sky.He was so biased towards Everton and said absolutely nothing about the penalty that was missed by the referee. Sky missed it to as it took them over 20 minutes to show the replay. Same happened at Arsenal when Aguero got clattered just outside the Arsenal box. No foul and I am still waiting to see the replay on Sky............

It was Hinchcliffe in the comms box, was it? I noticed he didn't say anything at all about it. The main commentator (astonishingly) was clear he thought it was a penalty once the replay was finally shown.

The challenge on Aguero at Arsenal - I agree, not a replay in sight, so I couldn't say. Certainly the City players were angry which suggests it WAS a foul.

Is Jamie Jackson actually a journalist, he's currently spluttering and blah blahing on H&J show on Talkshite as to why Pep should go to united rather than City. He comes across as being mentally challenged

I was listening to the Talksport commentary last night and right at 90 minutes when Everton were down to 10 men the co-commentator said "let's hope Everton can hang on for the win". It was so off the cuff and matter of fact that I nearly didn't twig! No idea who he was (ex toffee maybe?) but even so it just summed up the media opinion of us perfectly.

Madley is the worst fucking ref (by some margin) in this league. It's the 4th game he's reffed for us this season. First was our first home loss of the season against West Ham when he was fucking awful allowing them 20-30 seconds "play on" before giving them a free-kick (of which he did several times). Then we beat Norwich 2-1 with him in charge and he was again awful (for both teams) and beat Swansea 2-1 (again awful for both teams). Today was our 4th game in which he was in charge, the first away game, and he was beyond a homer (same can't be said in the 3 home games he reffed for us this season).

Of all the referee's atm he's the one I dread we get each week now. Is there a limit on the number of games a referee can ref a certain team? I note from http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/referees/profile.appointments.html/robert-madley he's on referee'd the rags once.

yeah, but he didn't though did he? 2 or 3 seconds maybe

Yeah that was an exaggeration of sorts.. but it was still far longer than normal "play on" should last. One instance was when one of their players when down in their half... another of their players ran the length of the pitch, was tackled (fairly) outside of our area, and he gave a free-kick for the first "foul" in their half. That was about 5/6 seconds at least.

Wasn't the West Ham game the onen where Jenkinson went down every 3 minutes and he only added 2 minutes injury time or something?
