The thing with almost all of these arsehole journalists and ‘Outraged on Twitter’ keyboard jockeys is they only pretend to give a fuck about human rights, state murders, etc because they‘re jealous it’s not their club with multi billionaire investors.

Newcastle fans were just as bad with City bingo until last week, and no doubt whatsoever if Spurs, Everton or fucking Stalybridge were taken over by a rich owner that the media linked to a dodgy background their fans would celebrate him and not give a fuck about his past.

None of these dickheads have the confidence or bollocks to admit they don’t give two shits about a Saudi journalist, modern slavery or anything else, because they‘re jealous of City and now of Newcastle. I certainly don’t give a fuck, I just want City to win everything.
And that's provable. Over 100 journalists have been murdered in Russia over the last few years. Yet not one of our press rat pack saw any problem in visiting the country for the World Cup. No one even mentioned the fact, let alone got on their high horse about it.

Market value needs to be fair in the eyes of independent auditors who do this for a living. These auditors are generally agreed between the governing bodies and clubs. City have literally scores of sponsors, some world renowned like SAP and Nissan, others less known like Mary D‘s…getting sponsorship isn’t an issue, every knows that, it’s more the right partner and one that suits the club and it’s values. I don’t for example see us being sponsored by a betting company any time soon.

I've just had the misfortune to click on one of those "Top 10" things that Lineker, Shearer and Richards do. This week, it's fullbacks.

No Zabaleta..... really?

Yep that sanctimonious prick Northcroft wrote a hand wringing article in the Sunday Times this week about how conflicted he felt as a long term admirer of “Newcastle’s passionate fans” by the evil Saudi regimes takeover. He went on to say that he was equally opposed to Qatar’s human rights record and although he would be going there to report on the World Cup he would stop short of praising the Qataris in any way.

So in other words just like any other privileged virtue signalling **** he’s prepared to object vociferously to something and tell everyone else what to think and how to behave right up until the very point at which it wlll affect him and then his objections wash away. No chance of Jonathan risking his seat on the journalists’ gravy train by telling his employers he’s not prepared to report on the World Cup on moral grounds. Like you say all these journos were happy to go to Russia and they’ll all be happy to go to Qatar.

And of course the Guardian’s ‘grinning beards’ dogwhistler/WhatsApp group member and ‘sportswashing’ obsessive Barney Ronay wrote an embarrassing book all-but rimming Putin, and reams of Russian apologia and outright propaganda in his world cup coverage. Bought and paid for.
Rabin skewered him on Twitter
