Seriously, that scenario is no more far fetched than us not having a single player in that team.
 
It looks to me, the reason for this bizzare team that was chosen, is to make them look smarter than they think they are imo

So they have used the averages of the after match scores to decide this shite team, as previously mentioned we have no chance as some Scouse **** organises, yes organises mass down votes on our players lol they don't care about us though and know way are we considered rivals. :)

Hilarious. What happens is that all fans of other jealous clubs after every one of our matches, gives all our players a one. Then give all their players 10. Hence our averages are low.
Look at the team of the year - all nobodies who get real scores from fans because they aren’t intimidated by them.
It’s a non story

Clearly Pep is more of a genius than he is given credit for, if he can take a team of such bad players 10 points clear at the top of the table! They need to get their story straight.

I don't really give a shit about this but I did complain to them about the scores that Raheem Sterling got in a particular match (the ratings from readers returned 4.75, the second worst of either team and where Bernardo scored 8.8 and Raz was nominated MOTM by Sky) because I pointed out to the BBC that it was not made clear that the scores were being manipulated and that their data collection wasn't picking it up. This was the pointless response ...

I'm surprised the players and club aren't addressing this sort of negativity but they've probably come to the same conclusion that most City fans have - the BBC are irrelevant. This poll proves they are not interested in addressing online hate towards players (for whatever reason) or reporting standards nor want to listen to criticism of it.
 
Tariq Lamptey who has played 2 full league games all season? Shane fucking Duffy who has been dropped, and played 1 out of the last 7 league games? Tells you all you need to know about the validity of this team. Ruben Diaz and Joao Cancelo say hi from 35% less goals conceded (from 2 games more) and double the number of points. The filth and bile towards us from the written, tv and Internet media has a huge impact on shit like this. Let’s wait for the bbc manager of the season vote, little ole and rag nick can share the fucker

It appears to be the same 'voting' arrangement as that PL team, can't remember who it was, instigated a vote on their website for one of the change kits for the upcoming season. Well, every crap-hat 'n shithead voted for the most ludicrous option available and the idea was withdrawn - although MANUre seem to have followed it up with some choice change of kits. The BBC team of the season so far is just another instance where statistics are used and not understood because the instigators want a particular outcome, which is graphically displayed. Just more bullshit 'n bullshine from the nation's broadcaster. Wonder what John Reith would make of it?

nevertheless from the BBC’s point of view they should be concerned because it makes THEM look stupid & unreliable.

I don't need to tell you but former Director-General of the BBC, John Reith, said famously that the corporation's mission should be to 'inform, educate and entertain'. Well. I suppose one out of three isn't bad if you consider that comedy is a form of entertainment!

I must say that when I saw the 'chosen' eleven I just guffawed, so perhaps it has fulfilled the notion of comedy! I wonder if Frankie Boyle was charged with sorting out the TotS?

Yep. All they have to do is add a clear disclaimer to the results pages saying the scores are not the opinion of the BBC. The problem from my perspective is that they validate them by using the highest score to award a MOTM and then go on to do this "team of the year so far" nonsense where one would expect there to be some representation from the team leading the table by a substantial margin.
