Season done now so time to get United back at the top:
Great line in the article:
"Although City won their fourth Premier League title in five years - beating Liverpool by a point - that was their only silverware of the season"
Fucking hell, I'd like to see which media site he reads, it must be great if it is slagging off the dippers that much.Interesting the take of fans of other clubs on the media angle?View attachment 45430
Let’s hope so.See Sky and BBC are backing Liverpool over the French police and UEFA. European ban incoming.
“Fans of other clubs”? That’s written by a liverpool fan isn’t it?Interesting the take of fans of other clubs on the media angle?View attachment 45430
How many were badly injured at Blackburn ? How many died ?Can we be holier than thou about this though Blackburn 2000 anyone ? We had thousands of ticket lessons fans many of whom jibbed in. My brother went without a ticket and somehow finished up in the directors box. When the gates opened with ten minutes to go thousands more blues piled in, congas along the touchline all very good humoured but I feared what could have happened had we lost. Boys will be boys, footy fans will be footy fans and appealing for them not to see go to a crucial game without a ticket is like telling it not to go dark at night. Checks for genuine tickets should have been way before the turnstiles a hand held devise will sort this out and there where sufficient police numbers to disperse or nick the ticket less. Has been said many times on here though these problems do seem unique to Liverpool .
Kinda meant all English clubs like last time - if English media don't make Liverpool nip it in the bud, Europe will do it for them (took that from the English fans comment from the French authorities).Let’s hope so.
Hope Klopp gets cited for encouraging ticketless fans to turn up….
Did you really need to check ? ;-)I decided I could be bothered, so checked all his tweets for October 2014, when the game took place. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
Yes, so I could be 100% sure.Did you really need to check ? ;-)
hahaha you know it!It's the lack of self awareness that really rubs me the wrong way with the dippers. They are just incapable of taking a step back and saying yeah maybe it wasn't such a good idea for Barry and his mates to go to Paris with tickets printed on toilet paper they bought for a tenner off dodgy Trevor down the pub.
Quite simply they could do a close up of the Liverpool fans in the stadium & if hardly any have got LFC shirts on we can believe them. The fact was they were all in red & filled the aisles as well.I watched the BBC news at 1 oclock, amazing how slanted there angle was in favour of the dippers, they showed a young lad climbing the fence but needless to say even though they had a choice of hundreds of clips of people climbing fences with dipper shirts on they found the one clip where the lad was not wearing any colours, now you cant tell me that is not carefully selected to avoid upsetting the dippers.
Bolleaux! The BBC haven't got any French speakers working in their news department?
100% Bullsh*t.
Said that earlier on too.Kinda meant all English clubs like last time - if English media don't make Liverpool nip it in the bud, Europe will do it for them (took that from the English fans comment from the French authorities).
Got to say, it was impressive how the media turned Liverpool’s 6 titles into 20 shared ones with RM. Nearly as good as when the GPC and Mancini played out a 7 goal thriller.Yep - classic diversion tactics from Liverpool’s admittedly highly impressive and sophisticated PR operation - supported gladly and ever-obsequiously by the spineless, supine and subservient excuse for a sporting press we have in this country (although the two are so indistinguishable these days it seems pointless listing them separately).
If they’d have won, all you’d see wall to wall was the wondrous, spectacular goals and ‘Hendo’ lifting the trophy aloft in adulation as the nation rejoiced.
As it is, I’m not even sure I’ve seen Madrid’s goal yet - the winning goal in the final of the greatest sporting competition the world has to offer, remember.
The fact the ‘Quad Squad’ failed so spectacularly, having talked themselves up incessantly for months is now a diminishing side story to the main event - the poor Liverpool fans, and how terribly mistreated they all were.
The poor lambs!
It’s quite impressive, when you step back and view it for what it is.
Before long, we’ll be back to the prevailing narrative of Liverpool ‘sharing’ the last five League titles and the last ten Champions Leagues or whatever shit they come up with next.
Truly the greatest Club side of our time!
They understand that those that grieve will always need somebody to console them. Being separated from reality will get the ultimate clicks.Good god, the 10 o'clock news going all out trying to defend the reputation of the dippers. The news even featured above a piece on the war in Ukraine.
I'll ask it again, irrespective of whether tickets were fake, or whether the French police made errors in trying to deal with tens of thousands of angry scousers, why when there is trouble are they always involved?
