If anyone knows the driver, tell him/her that they are a bollox.
You need to announce the next station AFTER you leave the last one, not before you get to it.
I got off at the wrong stop because the fucker announced the station next just before we got into the one before.
Bastard.
Didnt Noel do them on automated system? The drivers haven’t done the regular stop announcement for years.
The next stop comes up on the screen as you leave the last sop and then they announce it as you are approaching. So you’ve two options to find out.The drivers haven’t done the regular stop announcement for years.

Oh sorry, I should read all postings not just the ones that catch my eye. Sorry. :-)I know. Thanks. My point was, it is all automated now, unless the driver overides it to make some kind of special announcement.
There's a bit of works at Victoria that morning but can't see anything on the stuff you've mentioned. 23rd March is mangled, no footy though that day.Said on the platform sign today that on the Navy Line/Manchester Airport Service on Sunday for the Liverpool game, Mets are only going as far as Cornbrook, then it’s a bus replacement service from there.
Don’t know if that’s true of Altrincham, East Didsbury, Trafford Centre and Eccles lines?
The travel alerts on their website says work is being carried out at Victoria which will impact services until 10AM on the day of the match.Said on the platform sign today that on the Navy Line/Manchester Airport Service on Sunday for the Liverpool game, Mets are only going as far as Cornbrook, then it’s a bus replacement service from there.

Yes. I didn't look too closely at those because I was thinking about this Sunday. Thank heavens for the bus service, which I'm increasingly using. There are loads of works starting 1st March. No trams between St Peters Square and Piccadilly Gardens. Trams to/from Etihad will go to Victoria where you change to the rest of the network. Info
Should be OK tomorrow, thankfully our match wasn’t today.I'd recommend checking later if the Mosley Street accidents been cleared and that part reopened.
Sadly a 3 year old girl killed so imagine it's going to be closed for a long period today but I'd imagine will be operational by tomorrowI'd recommend checking later if the Mosley Street accidents been cleared and that part reopened.
Not on the tram or in the vehicle according to the BBC who say she was a pedestrian. Makes you wonder doesn’t it?Sadly a 3 year old girl killed so imagine it's going to be closed for a long period today but I'd imagine will be operational by tomorrow
The van rebounded off the tram and hit the girl. Those junctions off Moseley street have seen numerous incidents with cars/vans not giving way to oncoming trams and sadly it's now resulted in a death. Not on the tram or in the vehicle according to the BBC who say she was a pedestrian. Yes it is scary round there, some drivers think that a Red light doesn’t apply to them. The van rebounded off the tram and hit the girl. Those junctions off Moseley street have seen numerous incidents with cars/vans not giving way to oncoming trams and sadly it's now resulted in a death.
That sounds truly appalling. The van rebounded off the tram and hit the girl. Those junctions off Moseley street have seen numerous incidents with cars/vans not giving way to oncoming trams and sadly it's now resulted in a death.
That is sad to read.Sadly a 3 year old girl killed so imagine it's going to be closed for a long period today but I'd imagine will be operational by tomorrow
It was suggested a while ago they move the red lights back 10-20m - then youre not gonna risk jumping it.Yes it is scary round there, some drivers think that a Red light doesn’t apply to them.
