Middle East Conflict

When you think about it, it really is astounding that we can’t trust either side on this. It’s pretty unique in all modern conflicts where usually at least one side can be believed.

Israel denied bombing the Rafah border crossing and said it was a Hamas IED on Sunday but that’s now the dust has settled that’s being confirmed by all western news sources as Israel being responsible.
My understanding was that they immediately admitted bombng the border , they denied bombing the low loaders carrying civilians moving south

Israeli spokesman on BBC's the Context ( Mark Regev) just said it was Hamas. He looked flustered as fuck. Apparently it was some powerful missile that hit the Hospital .

That’s suspicious because Hamas don’t have powerful missiles, they have the kind of rockets you fire off the back of a pick up truck. Their whole method is trying to fire hundreds of small rockets to overwhelm iron dome with sheer numbers, anything big is just guaranteed to be shot down and essentially useless.

If Islamic Jihad did unintentionally hit the hospital, but then used the tragedy to paint the Israelis as something hideous to condemn them in the eyes of the world, that is quite disgusting.
And if the attack came from Israel, that is even more disgusting.

Nobody walks away from this with any respect.

UN intervention is now of paramount importance. Surely there are enough satellites monitoring the area that can give a conclusive account of what happens.

Do IJ have rockets that can cause that much damage? They must have fired thousands into Israel and you don't see much more than a damaged wall or a crater in the road. But taking out a whole building with a single rocket (it was reported as an explosion, not a barrage ....)?

Hard to know what to believe now. I’m seeing reports/ videos that are claiming it was Hamas who launched the rockets in a failed attack…

Who’s knows though

They have missiles supplied by Iran. If it was a close range attack it would cause serious damage. Especially if the structure of the building is poor or maybe a gas explosion ?? (I’m just guessing)

It might not have been Hamas though as some have claimed - Islamic jihad - so who knows that weapons they have

No one knows yet who did it. Go we’re all just speculating

You're sure?
How?
Well there’s a vid of a woman being taken out the back of a vehicle, with clearly a bloody ass and crotch, before being shoved into back seat and being driven off.

Rape is a tool of war, be it Russians on Ukrainians, ISIS on practically anyone… it’s pretty much endemic in any warfare.

Israel denied bombing the Rafah border crossing and said it was a Hamas IED on Sunday but that’s now the dust has settled that’s being confirmed by all western news sources as Israel being responsible, so these denials are standard MO for them, but then again you’d be a fool to trust Hamas or any other groups in Gaza too.

Indeed. It’s also one of the few times where both in power could be considered oppressors and both sets of civilians considered oppressed.

It took quite a few days to prove the one from August 2022.

Their spokesman on the BBC just stated it was Hamas.

Was an AlJazeera live stream that apparently captured the footage of it being a failed rocket launch by Hamas. I'm just remembering the poor souls lost and hope it is fully investigated and the perpetrators held accountable.
