I've stayed out of this thread for quite a while as it's no good for my blood pressure.

I think the reason a few are staying out is because they are seeing the devastation in Gaza and can’t bring a valid argument for the atrocities.

Funny that. Because I think they're seeing a group of people in this thread getting very het up about the actions of a Jewish state while not giving two fucks about human rights abuses and war crimes committed by other state, and non-state, actors.

And I think they draw certain conclusions from that and don't want to be associated with a bunch of barely disguised racists.

The actions in this conflict have been devastating all around, regardless of side. I think the only thing that can be commented on now is what is seen on a daily basis, and what we are seeing is absolutely harrowing.

There is nothing that can set you for these images, and we all need to remember that this is not a movie, this is real people, men, women, children and babies.

While we've got the same bunch of "pro Zionists" cheering on and justifying a genocide and an ethnic cleansing in Gaza, while at the same time condoning a land grab and ethnic cleansing in the West Bank.

I'm not cheering it, so you're wrong again.

I'd love Israel & the Palestinians to live side-by-side, in peace and security, in territorial integrity. I'd like to think you would too. But you only think one side is to blame, whereas I think both are.
