Mourinho quitting? (merged)

Re: Mancini's future

We want someone commited to City for the long-term. Mourinho is a 2-year merchant. He will go to United. Fergie will retire in the summer. Mourinho will leave United in 2 years when he has fallen out with everyone.

In Mancini commits long-term, that'll do for me.

Talking honestly, I think if we are pipped to the league and Jose quits Madrid, our owners might have their heads turned.

However, I do think we will win the league and it will be a non issue. Wont stop there being a million articles in the press between now and summer about a possible Mou>City move though.

I agree with you here he's to big a fish to let slip through only if we don't win the league of course. I don't want Roberto gone and would be fine with him staying but I wont turn my nose up at Jose. Some fans here talk allot of shit. "Don't want him near the famous blue shirt" These kind of comments are funny. He's a top manager if we get him cool if we don't its fine. Win win. Please don't reply talking about "Yeah but his football is shit" Stop bitching if your winning leagues/Champions League I couldn't give a fuck.

Re: Mancini's future

A look into my crystal ball tells me 10 more years of trophy-filled success for Mancini at City before being replaced by assistant manager Patrick Vieira in 2022.

Our almost definite new CEO can't stand Mourinho either.

This would not happen for a number of reasons. Way too many in fact. Just gonna state a few here:

1) Fans in general absolutely adore Bobby for everything that he has done for us. The fact that we sing his name more than anything else is testament to that and Im sure our owners are listening when they watch the matches. There might be a media backlash if he did well and they sacked him as well.

2) Balotelli will want to leave if Jose joins could be another tevez situation cus of the relationship between the two.

3) they will have to spend upto 20 million quid to buyout mourinho's current contract with real madrid.

4) They will have to sell a couple of player that mourinho wants and buy a few that mourinho wants. But lucky for mourinho, bobby's taste in players is very similiar to his.

There are so many other reasons. He is too volatile. He is too arrogant. I just would not want mourinho as our manager. Especially when we already have a fantastic one in bobby. Plus also mourinho is fucking fickle. He does not commit to any club long-term. So as an up and coming club, that is bad for us.

Mancini arrives under a cloud, sticks with his idea of locking out away teams at home, starts to build a team that everyone says won't get on. He does have problems but deals with them in his own way, managed certain players other managers couldn't, throw in a couple of Semi Finals, and our first Cup Final and success for years, add a few 5-0s a 5-1 in lge and cup games spice it up with a 6-1, get us into the CL and do bloody well in the hardest group and have us sitting top of the PL at the end of Jan.
Tell you what I will stick with what we have, and he loves the place so that means a bit more to me.

Roll on Sat when we belt out Manicni oh oh, better be loud to be heard over the Fulham following :)

If Mancini doesn't win the league, then we should sack him and bring in Mourinho. We'd be absolute idiots not to.
