Mourinho quitting? (merged)

unbelievable jeff....!!!!!

i went to the city store today at the ground to buy a couple of things,to cut a long story short i ended upstairs and was enquiring about a couple of everton tickets for me and my eldest lad..

as i was standing in the queue, the queue being me,my son and another city fan(i think he was anyway) this fella started going on about mourinho, the conversation went something like this..

city fan; hey, jose is on his way..
me; to where?
city fan; to us,see you mancini..
me;you what?
city fan; yeah, the owners don`t trust him,he can`t handle big players like bellamy and adebayor...
(at this point i glanced at my watch..only 1130 i thought, how come this nimrod talking to me is pissed up??)
me; he got rid because their attitude stank and they was mark useless deadwood signings..
city fan; they don`t like mancini,he can`t handle word class players like TEVEZ...
me; are you having a laugh?...(at this point it was my turn to be served,i just looked at said nobhead and shook my head...)

what the fuck was he on about?
to be fair,he had one eye on me and one eye was looking for the door but surely he was on a wind up,just made me think what a fickle fucker he was..

i`m with mancini all the way, jose isn`t on my radar and never was,he seems to have lost his edge to me and is getting far too involved in tit for tat arguements...

Re: unbelievable jeff....!!!!!

there was a none story in paper today suggesting that we are going for him again absolute no chance

Mourinho will piss on any club's traditions and do things his way - will the rag fans like that? Real Madrid's have a love/hate relationship with him, love because he gets results and has them ahead of Barca in the league, hate because he has shunned the club's traditions and style of play.
Madrid didn't exactly have stellar traditions to begin with. I personally like Mourinho's style of play. I can't speak for Inter because I didn't watch their league games but didn't you ever see Chelsea or even Madrid (his most attacking side yet) in the weekly games grinding out points? Madrid is a bit different with a vast attacking talent, but its usually a very high tempo and direct style, a bit like Spurs but much more efficient. The thing with Mourinho is, he plays to win. He wont go out guns blazing when he knows he's outgunned and people criticise him for being smart.

I still think he's the only Manager who is likely to displace Mancini as City but I genuinely don't see that happening. Our Owners know full well it's a marathon not a sprint and Mancini is putting something brilliant together. i.e. Top 4, FA Cup, now the Premiership etc. These things take time.

Never happen, bob is mubaraks man and having backed his horse from day 1 he won't be pulling him out anytime soon, that includes failing to win the league - city's next manager will be paddy viera!

Never say never Zin but i agree in the fact they've backed Bob from day 1 in every aspect.

If Bob wins the league then he'll be untouchable and rightly so, in two seasons he's stamped his mark on the EPL and won us the FA Cup, they should stick by him and give him what he wants to challenge in the Champs League.

Mourinho wants to come to City and has offered his services, it's just a case if we want him or not?

Love him or hate him he's the best club manager around and if Bob doesn't win the league then it's a big call to make.......................

To many if´s and but´s in this story..

Don´t ever think that Abu Dhabi is obsessed with silwerware, or winning at all costs.
They will look at the club, the whole club before deciding on if a new manager is an improvement.
The team is just a part of the whole.

Yes agreed ... apparently Mancini's thoughts and beliefs have been instrumental in the ADUG's vision of the academy and future of Man City so can't see them ridding Bobby of his job and bringing the journeyman in plus he doesn't stay at one club more than a few years each time

I know nothing about that really, it´s just part of their management structure.
Many would be surprised knowing how long term almost all their plans are.
