Not just that, he negotiated a settlement involving a hefty penalty whilst chancellor of the exchequer. In a normal world, anyone involved in the vetting and recruitment process should be resigning and not be anywhere near public office either!

what I don't understand is he is 55 and a proud boast of his is that he came here aged 11 having fled the Iraqi regime not being able to speak a word of English and 30 years later was a multi-millionaire.
