renewed - now My lad is 5 he has got his 1st ever season ticket - :)

How have you managed that, I thought it was renewals only up to a certain date before you could buy new cards?

curious as my lad is 5 and want to get him one

cheers

*edit: just called up as I'm keen not to miss out for my little one and they said no new tickets until at least after the 3rd of June when renewals finish, so if you have found a way around this, I'd be pleased to hear how.

I did a swap. My daughter no longer wants to go as she has other things she does, so swapped my daughter for my son. You have to pay the extra 10% as its a new ticket

fair do's, just worried I won't be able to get him one. Might get away with one more season, but it will look odd trying to carry him through the turnstiles and sitting him on my knee when he's 15/16 :-)

just renewed platinum (reluctantly) and all schemes with the 4 x dd option

not impressed with the new ticket site, took me about 5 mins to work out where the 'proceed payment' icon was on the final screen...

also noticed it's put me on the FA cup scheme twice... points total has not been updated also got 100 points per scheme where should read 200...

but i suspect this will hopefully be corrected over the next couple of weeks...

i'm off for a lie down.

all now corrected....

Found this earlier. Link to 10/11 season ticket prices if anybody wants to see the difference. Mine is £200 more expensive now as it has gone up from £515 to £715. Price of success I suppose.

You can look at different sections by using the arrow at the bottom of the page.

mine has gone from £500 to £665
but that is from 09/10 to 13/14
therefore it's not over two years, it is over four, plus have you then added platinum as it didn't exist back then?

They sell the tickets in the family stand before the official date, I don't know why but when I got ours a few years back I rang up on the off chance just enquiring about different areas of the ground and the guy said if I wanted for the family stand I could buy now but anywhere else I would have to wait. I wasn't sure at the time if I wanted to go to the family stand because of the view and liked where I had sat previously so left it, I then panicked thinking I might not get one if I didn't take them up on the offer, rang back and bought two season tickets well before the date given by the website, no waiting. Then last year I got one for my youngest son, again rang up no problems.

So it seems the only way round it is to go for family stand, worked for me and in the end we have really good seats.

True didn't think about platinum. Put it this way the same seat at Utd is £950 in the southstand as my mate has just renewed his so £715 to watch the blues is a bargain if you ask me.

tbf i wouldn't pay £9.50 for the swamp

I don't know if anyone else had the following problem, but if you use google chrome as your browser when you renew, it won't let you choose the cup schemes. I renewed fine, but it kept giving me an error when I tried to register for the cup schemes.

Anyway, I've now logged into my City account through Internet Explorer and I joined the cup schemes. Sorted!
