The rag fans can say what they want about Ronaldo coming home Ronaldo is going nowhere
I'm curious about this myself. Would Neymar fit the tiki-taka style as well? I can just see it now, the moment he decides to shoot and doesn't pass to Messi..ooohh dear!SuperSilva said:waspish said:ancoats said:this stinks of a 3rd party ownership and for £20million it keeps the uefa FFPR happy

waspish is right... Ronnie is going no where ... in an election year with piss poor results for Real, they will never let him go. Wholesale changes and new management will please tran boy for a little longer.
Also think Neymar is suited much better to La Liga but question whether he would have been better at Real than Barca... Will be interesting to see the dynamic and ego of both Neymar and Messi ... Hope Tito is good at man management as well

Transfer fee is widely agreed to be 25-28m Euros for 100% of his rights, including two friendlies and first buyers' rights to three Santos youth products. In addition, it is pretty much accepted that Barca paid 10m for a pre-contract with Neymar last year; this rumor is backed up by an unspecified payment of 10m in FCB's official publicly viewable finances from last year, marked as "players" or something similar, and the fact that the Santos VP acknowledged that Barca had a pre-contract with Neymar.
Overall price: ~38m Euros.
Hummels can't defend well enough either.blinkblue said:You'd think ter Stegen and Hummels are the obvious choices. Not sure if ter Stegen's distribution is good enough though.

If they go through the window spunking the majority of their budget on Neymar whilst skimping or just flat out ignoring buying a solid centre back there will be many laughs indeed.
Sell Thiago to us, go and buy Agger. Would be half the price of Hummels at least, likely easier to pry from Liverpool than Hummels from Dortmund, and they'd get a better defender in the peak of his career, maybe even for long enough to start training defenders at La Masia :p
Since when does that concern Barca?Joehannes said:Hummels can't defend well enough either.blinkblue said:You'd think ter Stegen and Hummels are the obvious choices. Not sure if ter Stegen's distribution is good enough though.

What i find weird about this transfer is that it doesnt address their main problem of needing a central defender and another top striker which will probs be another 50m at least to that end you can see villa going and maybe pedro, the problem with alot of barcelona players i.e thiago and pedro is that they would walk in to any other team on the planet and the thrill of sitting on the bench for barcelona can only last for so long. If you assume they have a front four and 2 of those spaces are occupied by messi and neymar then that leaves iniesta, xavi pedro, tello thiago and youngsters fightin for very few spots and someone may have to go.
