Nissan - sponsorship confirmed (page 7)

Their Uefa deal is about 45-50m pounds per season.

What part of the 20m ends up at Man City accounts tho (per season)?

I recon another clue as to how significant the club view Nissan is where they put the sponsor. Before only the UAE based sponsors and Umbro/Nike were on the top row, now Nissan are also on the top row.

I wonder if Nissan sell more cars here than Chevrolet. ;)

Chevrolet don't sell ANY cars here! They pulled out of the market to make way for their couzens Vauxhall.

Cracks me up - so transparent isn't it....

FT announce City/Nissan deal....

FT announce City halve losses....

FT announce City faces UEFA fine over losses....

So fucking predictable. The fuckers must be crying into their Shoreditch pint mugs of London Pride :)))

For all the mocking of United's Chevrolet deal - GM aren't necessarily targeting the UK as a market. They're gaining exposure in many other emerging markets.

I'm all for poking at bit of fun at United and GM, but they're not complete morons!

Look at us! On a football forum arguing about sponsorships deals!! Who gives a fook?

Erm... I admit they aren't really football topics, but they are a pretty essential part of our club these days. With FFP in place, we've got to get this money in to keep buying the best.

I think it's brilliant news.... it's only more brick being removed from the FFP brick wall UEFA put in our way.

Most of this financial stuff goes right over my head, especially as the true figures are never really revealed, one thing that I found interesting is that the Nissan badge will be on the back of the womens team kit. Does anyone know what the FA rules are regarding kit sponsorship for the mens team, will we end up with different logos plastered all over the kits like in South America?
