Been too many shit ones this season for my liking mate.Amazing how much a result changes your mood

The other thing that I was thinking about why this keeps happening is analysis and coaches of opposition teams that are not mugs.Like you say, pep will never shut up shop. His idea of that is to have as much of the ball as possible. If were controlling the ball the otehr team is less likely to score. We were in control but you could see where they were targeting and even with 80% of the ball, if the other team use their 20% on your weak spot, then shit can happen and it did yesterday.
Laporte was one of the main instigators of that. That is true, the many missed opportunities cost us. However the lack of a left back contributed to their equaliser and ultimately cost us 2 dropped points.
Teams play a different style when playing City. I cannot see Leicester playing such a high line against us like they did against the ragsWe will never get the chance to find out. They rode their luck in the first half with Leicester. Same with Arsenal, any side better than them would have punished them.
Bernardo going walkabout caused it, Laporte doing standabout assisted it and Rodri doing fallabout contributed to it. The initial error was BernardoLaporte was one of the main instigators of that.
They probably do but we dont break at pace. We go slow so they have everyone back and we aren’t susceptible to a counter.Teams play a different style when playing City. I cannot see Leicester playing such a high line against us like they did against the rags
Totally agree. We've had some great one half performances this year, but I thought our attitude and effort was brilliant. Unfortunately some decision making and glaring misses meant we didn't win. I felt sorry for the team tbh. Forest were lucky we were poor in front of goal. On another day.....I think we played mint yday bar the finnishin, had a top day shame we ding win but main thing is that were playing well at this stage of season and if we do carry on playing like this we will win leauge an go far in champs leauge, because that was just a freak draw that game, put it to bed an move onto next, not worried one bit as long as were playin way we did,and against arsenal
You might as well have said that initially it broke by a forward losing the original ball in the Forest half !!Bernardo going walkabout caused it, Laporte doing standabout assisted it and Rodri doing fallabout contributed to it. The initial error was Bernardo
Yes , it’s not like United have a fast pacy offside immune forward to exploit the high line tactics, good job BrendanTeams play a different style when playing City. I cannot see Leicester playing such a high line against us like they did against the rags
Their goalie is a big plus, according to rag aquaintances he makes top saves most games. May not be too hot with his feet but he regularly wins them games. The rags are utter shite, but they have the refs, var and the media backing them up. They are miles away from our level but it doesn't take much to change the course of football results
I did think in the first half that we were expending more energy trying to create openings than Forest were in covering them. There was one moment late in the half where Kev, on the right, passed the ball but made no attempt to look to go forward for a return. The other thing that I was thinking about why this keeps happening is analysis and coaches of opposition teams that are not mugs.
We've seen a number of teams focus on just staying afloat against us for 60-70 mins then launching a quite high intesity gear change as we tire.
Peps systems are pretty well understood now and there are a lot of very professional coaches and analysts trying to come up with ways to play against us. This is inevitable and for years now Pep has made tweaks that have moved the game on and we've stayed ahead.
This weakness is something I'm sure Pep and his team are working on and I have faith that we will move forward again.

Yep if we haven’t killed teams off then they are quite happy to sit in deep, even with a 1-0 deficit, to try and make it a 15 minute game at the end.The other thing that I was thinking about why this keeps happening is analysis and coaches of opposition teams that are not mugs.

Aside from the misses that's the best we've played in a long time mateThose misses on Saturday were absolutely criminal, Haaland's, Laporte's piss poor, and wtf Foden was trying to do when he made that awful pass to Haaland is anyone's guess, you have to shoot in that position. Where is this City of the last few seasons, because at present we look a shadow of those title winning sides
