I sat on the second row of the top tier at Wembley for the 2023 FA Cup final and had to grab the waistband of the lad’s jeans in front of me to stop him falling over the edge. He was on his way over after losing his balance.
It’s not very safe at all there. The wall is only above knee height if you’re tall.
Unsure how it doesn’t happen more often at Wembley. I know it did happen in the 2020(2021) Euros as well though.
Its always been a Reni hat, to me.Renis were big 89-92 and were very common at City matches, gigs and raves.
Made a resurgence at gigs when the Roses tribute bands started popping up 97ish.
Made another resurgence when the Roses returned in 2012 and 2016 and a further one with the Oasis reunion. Oasis fans, through their link to Manchester have piggybacked it. It was always a Roses thing.
Outside of those periods you might see the odd one or two at festivals.
I was too young for the Stone Roses first time round but once I started going to City regularly in the early 90's, I always had a bucket hat. I threw one on the pitch during the lap of honour in 91 or 92 and Steve McMahon picked it up and put it on. I don't remember it being an Oasis thing but I probably wore a City one for the Maine Road gigs, or at least one of them. Its always been a Reni hat, to me.
It was one of my mates it happened to at the Euros, to say he was lucky would be an understatement - he was in hospital for months after but now back to normalI sat on the second row of the top tier at Wembley for the 2023 FA Cup final and had to grab the waistband of the lad’s jeans in front of me to stop him falling over the edge. Shit, poor manVery sad and freaked out after seeing the picture in news to find out the guy that fell at Wembley was next to me during the gig , saw the picture of the couple and recognised straight away.
Was with him arm in arm singing along all night.

Seriously thinking about going to Buenos Aires to see Oasis in November.
I get my annual bonus in November.
I’m 57.
Life is too short.
You can’t take it with you.
A once in a lifetime trip.
Oasis, the iconic River Plate stadium, Buenos Aires, fuck it, I’m going!
It would not have the same raucous atmosphere without all the Scandinavians or Irish in attendance. The best crowds are there,so you should do it.
I always wondered why Anfield doesn't have more concerts when you consider it has the best atmosphere in the UK, it's the closest atmosphere to the likes of River Plate, especially when the Kop gets going! It would be electric for gigs.
What a load of shite. Have you ever actually been to Klanfield? The best crowds are there,so you should do it.

They’d sell fuck all tickets as they’d all be jibbing in.The best crowds are there,so you should do it.
