Official Knee-Jerk Reaction Thread

Can you not see what's in front of your own nose? Adebayor looks like the player the Gooners said we were getting, De Jong is a real little battler with lots to admire but he's one dimensional, Tevez is just Dickov on steroids. Lescott struggled for pace today and as a unit our back four look well dodgy. I can't believe the blind optimism in this thread of some people, this is the knee jerk reaction thread! Not the stick by our team through the tuff times thread!

And instantly any post in here gets labelled a "knee jerk" reaction.

When people are going over the top with praise that the threads are allowed to run and run, I think there needs to be some consistency, even though you may not like a particular point of view.
 
well that feels like a defeat to me 2.0 up against a team that played monday thusday and we have a week to rest players not good enough, it seems when other teams slip up we can't take advantage not top four in my view these are must win games,it seems typical city are still here...
 
Where are the new threads going?

ffs, is this so as not to upset anyone from the club should they be reading them?

Maybe you could start a 'Happy Clappy' thread and then just have every poster post in either this one or that one and fuck people expressing any new points of view.
 
Really need to win our next game. All these draws are getting us precisely nowhere.
 
Reality Check

1 win in 5, this wasn't so unexpected. I never thought our squad was good enough realistically for top 4 but must admit I was beginning to get carried away. Top 6 is still where I think we'll end up - maybe lower if we can't sort out defending set pieces. Certainly this defence is not good enough to make us top 4.

Its not a knee jerk reaction thanks very much our last three games we have gifted teams with goals thanks to our defence.
That for one reason or another cannot gel together Mark Hughes has spend a fortune on two CB who look completely lost and add that to the drop in form or Micah Richards its a ticking time bomb that will hurt us in the end.
We have lost 6 point because of that defence we might have good attacking players but our defence is poor and needs to be sorted.
At the end of the day if some players are not preforming no matter how much we paid for them should be dropped.
Thank god big Vinny is coming back
