Lets not cloud the thread with Hughes' Managing / how we felt the team played, this is a thread about
OFFICIALS SLAGGING OFF OUR TEAM AT HALF TIME - ITK

I see it as there are 3 main points...

1) A referee should be impartial - if he did say what Hughes/ Bolton guy supposedly heard, then it is completely unprofessional and does show Bias , as Bellamy's sending of was very dubious, hence what he said WAS very important, as it shows that instead of making a mistake, he was NOT impartial.

2) Boltons first goal was off side, which does not help any of the officials cause if said conversation did take place, as once again this shows what could be written off as an error could now be seen as bias.

3) Whilst watching Silvinhio's challenge, he was the last man and should have been sent off - If I'm honest (and I'm sure if you are all honest 90% of you would agree) I was expecting a red card. This again shows an injustice against Bellamy - he was obviously refereeing leniently for all other players on the pitch!

Hughes / Gary Cook should be reporting them first thing Monday morning - why else would Hughes say anything to the BBC - he is not a mindless cock after loosing, or decisions going against him (unlike Baconface).

End of.

EddH: I agree with points 1 & 2 but the last man does not come into it as the ref has to decide if he denied a goal scoring opportunity and as the bolton player stay on his feet and went on to make an attempt on goal then he clearly didn't

Dom: The reason no appeal can be made is that it was two yellows and a yellow cannot be appealed
Cheers, kramer . Oh well soddit, give bellers a rest and he'll come back even stronger . Love 'im to bits !

It's been a long time since I have seen a ref get so many key decisions wrong. You just have to hope that he gave the decisions in good faith. If the officials are commenting about their personal feelings towards our players during a match you start to wonder about their professionalism.

Surely the worst reffing performance since Graham Poll vs Ipswich in the league cup at maine road. The replay of the one that got abandoned.

Surely there is enough reason for the FA/Prem league to look into this now?

If this was against the Rags you can guarantee it would have made the back pages of todays papers and there would be an investigation commencing on Monday.

Clattenberg = 100% bent twat imo

We will soon find out whether or not Hughes thinks he has been cheated by a dodgy referee... or is just blowing off a smokescreen to deflect from another disappointing result.

If Hughes is serious, then he should be making an official complaint to the FA and the Referees Association, notifying them of his concerns and asking for an official response. And let's see if we can take this all the way.

Alternatively, if it's just a ruse to deflrct attention away, then Hughes will drop the subject, shrug his shoulders and witter "There's no point in taking it further".

Let's see which one transpires over the next couple of days.

I hope Hughes shows some balls and takes them on.. I fear it's all bullshit and it will be quickly forgotten.

But if he bottles it, no one will take him seriously next time he gripes about officials.

It's over to you Hughsie..

The disappointing result was directly linked to the inept officiating wouldn't you say?

This is disgraceful behaviour from Clattenburg. Those on here trying to equate Hughes actions with Fergies are talking out of their arses.

And like I said... it will be interesting to see what Hughes reactions will be be..

If things were said at half-time, as is being claimed, then Hughes has a strong case foir taking this further. But we'll see if he does. I hope he does.

As I said in a thread yesterday, I was right in line with the incident and Bellamy was clearly "touched" so it was never a sending off.

But mistakes happen. What is being suggested by the club goes WAY beyond mistakes though.
